A/n: Don't play music until told to. But if you wanna listen to it go ahead.

A couple minutes had passed and we heard footsteps.

"Hey Eve." Cynthia spoke quietly.

"What?"

"Can we visit mother?" Cynthia asked.

I opened my eyes and looked at her.

"How come your asking of this now?"

"I miss home." Cynthia spoke.

I patted her head.

"I do too."

"I'm worried about mother." Cynthia said.

"I am too."

"What do you think will happen once Mother is gone?" Cynthia asked.

I flicked her forehead and she held it in pain.

"Ow. Eve. That hurted." Cynthia said.

"Don't make such ridiculous statements."

"But Eve what if?" Cynthia grabbed my hand and held it.

Mother won't be gone. She'll still be here in our hearts."

I placed my hand over my heart and she smiled.

But tears fell down her eyes and I wiped it.

"Why are you crying silly?"

"Don't you find our life so pitiable?" Cynthia said.

"I wouldn't think like that. Rather I say it was once a nightmare that I overcome and it has changed me into a person to who I am today. Though it was unpleasant and there were pain but those feelings are apart of who I am now."

I patted her head and she smiled.

"No matter what you are or what happened to you. You are you and that's just who you are now."

"But the scars. Don't you think they are horrible? Don't you wish to erase them and not have it on your body so no one can judge them." Cynthia asked.

"My scars may be permanently they might've been painful. But these scars are my identity they tell me my stories they speak my truths and they share my pain. They're a part of me and though it may be ugly they can be beautiful in every other aspects."

Cynthia cried.

"My scars are beautiful." She asked.

"Of course because they're apart of you and your heart is beautiful. So don't worry about these silly things. Just remember you are yourself no matter what."

After consoling Cynthia she fell asleep and so we fell asleep.

When I woke up it was already past noon.

I heard footsteps and then heard shouts.

"Lady Eve! Lady Cynthia!" A guard shouted.

I sat up and woke Cynthia up.

"It seems we've been gone for too long. Let's go." I stood up and helped Cynthia up.

"Lady Eve! Lady Cynthia!" The guards shouted.

We walked out of the fields and made it onto the path.

"We're here."

The guards turned around and saw us.

"His highness were worried for you two. Come quick." The guard spoke.

We followed him and went back to the front gates.
