Chapter two

Sollux woke up with a slight headache causing him to stand up and go straight to the bathroom.

He stopped right in front of it.

It was locked.

Sollux run his hand through his hair and went to the kitchen instead.

Of course it was locked, Feferi was still in there.

She was hogging the bathroom every morning for about an hour.

Still on his way he heard someone ringing the doorbell.

He groaned. Who would come to visit this early?

A little pissed he turned around, heading now for the front door.

Again, the doorbell rang as he opened the door.

He was facing a rather tall guy with thick glasses, blond hair and a purple streak in it.
Probably some kind of weird hipster..

The guy's eyes widened as he sized Sollux up.

"Didn't expect Fef to have visitors today" he said, pushing Sollux aside and entering the house.
Visitors?

Sollux closed the door, trying to ignore the harsh behavior of the blond intruder and went back to the living room just to find him already settled on the couch.

Sollux scoffed, leaning against the wall next to him and staring at the other for a while.

"You gonna introduce yourself?" Sollux' voice cracked a bit.

There was no answer as the other reached for the remote.

"Did you hear-"

"Yes."

Sollux frowned.

"Okay, so I am Sol-"

"Interesting.."

He tuned on the tv.
Wait. What? Who the hell is that guy?? Geez.. I gotta calm down..

Sollux left the living room and went to the kitchen hoping to somehow get through the day without any other sudden visitors or incidents.

He poured himself a cup of coffee as he heard footsteps coming closer behind him.

He turned around only to see the other one leaning in the doorway.

"Where's Fef?"

Sollux stared at him for a moment before slowly sipping his coffee.

The blond guy rolled his eyes and walked over to the counter to pour himself a cup of coffee as well, "ugh fine", he took a seat, "name's Eridan Ampora, now where's she?"

Eridan..

"Showering"

"Ah.."

A couple of minutes passed before Eridan finally began to speak again.

"So uh..", he started, "is there a reason you don't wear any..y'know..", he really looked at everything but Sollux.

"Hm?", Sollux tried to figure out what he meant, "o-oh, you mean pants?"

"Yea" he answered quickly.

"I just woke up"

Eridan frowned at that.

"I mean.. I would have dressed myself more decent if someone told me there was gonna be a visitor today..", he hold his hands up in defence.

Eridan shifted in his chair in discomfort.

"And how long are you planning to stay?"

"I live here"

"You wwhat?", his eyes widened in disbelief and so did Sollux'.
Did he just...

They were quiet when suddenly a grin crept across Sollux' face.

A squeal broke the silence between them.

"Eridan!!", they didn't even notice Feferi coming in. She jumped over to him, pulling him into a tight hug.

"Fef.." he barely hugged her back, still glaring at Sollux.

"Oh right", she let go of him, "that's Sollux, my new roommate", she smiled fondly.

"Sollux, that's-"

"..Eridan" he finished her sentence, finally managing to take his eyes off of Eridan.

"Yes, do you know each other?"

She looked from one to another, her smile never fading.

"Well, not exactly, I introduced myself earlier."

Sollux let out a short scoff.
...sure took you some time..

"I see.." she obviously noticed the tension between them.

"Fef could I talk to you for a moment?", he looked at Sollux, "just a second"

"Sure, anytime"

"Alone.", he grabed her hand, dragging her to the living room.

Sollux could hear they were talking but it was all dull. What he could hear was that Eridan didn't appreciate his existence. At least not in Feferi's house.

"What's he doin here?", Eridan whined.

"He's had a rough time, Eridan. Give him a chance. I know you'll get along well, just give him some time."

Alright, Sollux definitely needed some time alone now.

There was no way he was ever getting along with that..hipster jerk..

He left the kitchen, approaching Eridan and Feferi.

"I'll be out for a walk", he said, taking his keys and going to the front door.

"Sollux wait!"

He stopped.

"Don't you wanna get dressed first?"

Ugh right..

"I don't care", he lied, leaving the house with a sigh.
No. Way.
