Author's Note: This was originally meant to be a one shot and was featured in my collection of Foxxay-oneshots called Through Thick and Thin (shameless promotion: go read it!), but I decided to make it into a longer version. I hope you enjoy it, and if you do: leave a comment, and perhaps a vote to make me happy!

"The taxis are here in five minutes, is everyone ready?" Cordelia came to a halt in the middle of the stairs, counting over the girls. They looked up at her and gaped. Misty gaped widest of them all. Cordelia was dressed in a form fitting off-the-shoulder dress with silver embroidery. Her hair was in loose curls and she carried an embellished purse in her hands. She looked absolutely gorgeous. Madison whistled, and Cordelia tried to ignore her as she descended the rest of the stairs. Misty couldn't help but stare at the beauty who'd just emerged from her bedroom.

"Look at the swamp bitch. She's positively spellbound by her. Having a crush much, swampy?" Madison laughed condescendingly behind her. She heard a thump and an "ow" when Zoe drove her elbow into Madison's ribcage. Misty suppressed a slight chuckle. Cordelia had noticed the fuss and walked closer to Misty to keep an eye on the two girls behind her. Misty smiled and wanted desperately to compliment her.

"Miss Cordelia, you look stunningly gorgeous! I- I mean, er, ya look very pretty. Um...", Misty both stuttered and swallowed her words in the company of the older witch. Madison burst out in a fit of uncontrolled laughter, and Misty blushed furiously. She wanted to slap herself across the face for being so damn nervous. Madison continued to laugh, and Misty's face felt as hot as boiling water, and surely looked as red as a tomato. Fantastic, Misty. Really smooth. Luckily, Cordelia completely ignored Madison and instead smiled widely at Misty.

"Thank you, Misty! You look stunningly-gorgeous yourself." Cordelia really meant every word. The wild blonde was dressed in a navy blue halterneck dress with an open back. She wore a pair of her old boots with it, but somehow Cordelia thought it was a perfect combination nonetheless. Misty blushed even more (if that was possible) at the compliment, but managed to thank her without further embarrassment. When the rest of the girls were ready to go, Cordelia led them all out to the pavement where three taxis stood waiting. Cordelia, Misty, Madison and Nan climbed into the first car. Zoe, Kyle, Queenie and Marie Laveau climbed into the second. And last came Fiona, Myrtle and Spalding.

"So, how's the crush on 'Miss Cordelia' working out for you, huh, swampy? Do you love her?" Madison spoke quietly as Cordelia talked with the driver. Misty was pressed between Madison and Nan in the backseat - a far from enjoyable position. Misty wanted to ignore her, but Madison just kept going. "Have you kissed her yet? Or are you afraid? Aww, the little swamp queen is afraid of rejection. How sad", Madison snickered loudly, and Misty was in danger of completely losing it. One more remark and she would... "Do you want to fuck her? On the desk in her office? Do you dream of her? Wouldn't it just-" Misty had had enough. She grasped Madison's shoulders and pushed her violently against the window.

"You shut your goddamn mouth, Madison! Or, I swear to God, I will kick that skinny little-" She didn't have time to finish the sentence before Nan quickly pulled her back down in the seat, an amused look on her face. Cordelia had noticed the chaos in the backseat, and was now turned towards the two blondes with an angry expression on her face.

"If you two can't even sit beside one another without starting a goddamn nuclear war, I'll kick you both out! Good luck finding your way to the party by foot. Now be quiet, both of you", Cordelia hissed and sat back down, directing her gaze to the road. Misty turned away from Madison with a sour expression on her face, and started fiddling with the lace on her dress.

Cordelia smiled and took another sip of her drink. Misty's heart fluttered wildly in her chest when Cordelia placed a hand on top of hers. They had been sitting at the bar for some time now, sharing memories and drinking wine together. Both of them had needed to cool down, and it was Misty who had found Cordelia sitting alone at the bar first.
