The past is done
But leaves you sore
You cannot run
Or even soar
It holds you back
With heavy chains
It shows your lack
And dark remains
You seek a way
To be set free
And found the Way
In God's Mercy
For His Son had borne
The wages of sin
So that you'll be born
Again right in Him
