THIRD PERSON POV

First, Y/N was interviewed. Then the guys, and Patrick's mother. The cops couldn't make sense of all that happened, they all had nothing to do with the case. No leads, no evidence other than Patrick being in the hospital for a concussion

Patrick didn't wake up. It seemed like every day he got worse. The doctor gave the news that Patrick went into a coma. He even said "If he doesn't wake up soon, he's gonna be put on life support." Hearing the news scared Y/N

She visited him every day. Stayed by his bedside every night. She held onto high hopes that he'd wake up, no matter how many days passed. When Patrick's mother, Katherine, would come in and visit. She always tried to offer Y/N food and water, fresh air to take a walk in but Y/N refused to leave Patrick's side

Going on without the love of her life was pure horrendous torture. No one knew how long he'd be away. She wished for him to wake up already. Y/N reminisced every memory they both shared from the first time they met to - the very last memory.

The days were a huge drag to get by; but that's where the alcohol comes in. It's easier to forget your sorrows, then she moved onto more drugs. They can turn your day around

Someone started a rumor that she was the one behind Patrick's coma. But she shot that down, finding the person who did it and making them pay the price for it.

How cowardly is it for people to think of her doing that to him! I mean he obsessed over Y/N daily, she loved him as much as he did. They all stayed clear out of her way after what happened

Today was just not another easy day though. Y/N awoke, limbs cramped from sleeping on the chair. She looks to Patrick for any sign of life. None. Still as a corpse yet

Y/N sighs, rubbing her boyfriend's cold and pale knuckles. She gets up, off to wash her face then maybe find some coffee

Wandering through the busy halls. Finding a bathroom, then next coffee or at least a pop from the vending machine. Digging around for change in her wallet, shit only ¢20 short. Y/N sighs, about to ask if anyone could spare change til she saw the pharmacy doors open

A pharmacist leaving for a break. Curious, Y/N walks over. Catching the door before it could close and lock then going inside....

Suddenly....she didn't need the caffeine anymore, she found a better drug
