In surgery
I could see all these doctors standing around me and I could smell this awful smell was I dead was I seeing myself like an out-of-body experience
Dr. Smith- wait, John, he is awake you better get the anesthesia up immediately
I slowly faded back to sleep
Chrissy- son
Me- mama
Chrissy- I have missed you so much
Me- why did you have to leave me
Chrissy- look at how much better you're doing without me with Dave and Tia you needed to be here
Me- but I need you too I miss you so much
Chrissy- hey I see you have a girlfriend

Chrissy- what she is beautiful
Me- she is beautiful
Chrissy - look I was sick a long time baby and I wasn't getting any better so it was going to happen and I'm sorry I left
Me- it's not your fault mama I know you were sick and I'm happy you're not hurting anymore

Chrissy- absolutely not she is an amazing mother and she stepped up for you and she didn't have to
Me- maybe it's my time since I'm seeing you I'm happy we together
Chrissy- boy I will kill you myself you have a life to live don't worry about me
Me- what if this don't work
Chrissy- just focus on staying alive Corey the rest will happen
Me- Mike is back
Chrissy- I know don't let him work you all up he is not worth it. I messed up by being with him but you are a blessing that's why I kept you baby because you're going to be great
Me- I hate him
Chrissy- hate is a strong word look he is not the best dad well he not a dad at all but you have a man that stepped up as your dad so focus on that relationship and if I see you step out a line again with them I will personally come down and tear into you
Me- I wish you were here
Chrissy- I am here

Chrissy- I'm not telling you just keep fighting you got this

Chrissy- I love you son you are my greatest blessing my greatest accomplishment being your mom was everything to me and I'm sad I didn't get to spend forever with you
Me- you got me crying mama you were an amazing mother a gentle spirit and you had an amazing soul I'm sad you left me but I'm happy you no longer in pain
Chrissy- excuse my language but give them hell at Duke she winked at me
My eyes fluttered opened
Nurse- your awake you might go in and out of your sleep right now because we had to up your dose of anesthesia we talked to your parents about it but you're fine
