Episode 7: Sky Beast

It's the next day, Julie and Tammy are trying to train in the power of Lightning

"Concentrate, feel the energy swell up..." Jay says

Tammy and Julie concentrate, Tammy lets off a weak surge. As Julie tries, she gets blown back as it backfires, scaring Tammy.

Tammy goes over to her "You okay!?" She says alarmed

Julie sits up "Ugh, Yeah, I'm good...I think."

Tammy helps her up, they hear thunder in the distance and look in that direction "Woah..." Tammy says, amazed

They look to see the Floating Ruins

"That's the Floating Ruins, hun. Same place me and the others found the Nunchucks of Lightning." Jay says

"Awesome...are we heading that way?" Julie says with amazement

"We are." A voice says

Jay turns calmly with a smile, while Tammy and Julie spin around alarmed, just to see it is Lloyd "Ugh, Dad please stop sneaking up on us like that..." Julie says

"I'm sorry dear, but yes we are headed that way, the Battle Claws of Lightning are hidden high in the sky of the ruins."

"Woah." Tammy says, looking to the ruins, as if she felt called to it

As The Bounty reaches a landmass for them to traverse on, Tammy heads to her and Julie's Cabin. Tammy begins to grab a few things.

"Hey, whatcha doing?" A voice says

Tammy spins around, and sighs "Ugh, you're as bad as your dad."

Julie chuckles "Seriously, what are ya up to?"

"I'm grabbing a few of my gadgets." She says as she puts a whole backpack on

"Uuuh, you sure that's a good idea? That looks like it's gonna really weigh ya down." Julie says

"No, I'm good." She says clearly struggling to not be dragged down

Julie sighs "Alright, talk to me." She clearly knows something is wrong

Tammy sighs "Just...you know I feel better with these gadgets."

"Still don't feel very strong, huh?"

Tammy looks down "I'm still no stronger than a taser..."

Julie sighs "You scared?"

"How can I not be? We need to find a set of weapons that is apparently the only thing that can stop an ancient evil that can consume Ninjago, only for it to start all over again!" She takes a breather after that freak out

"...Uh, I'll take that as a yes."

Tammy sighs, letting the bag slip from her shoulders "I'm more than scared Jules, I'm terrified. I mean...how many times have we done this already..."

"Try not to think about that-"

"It's all I can think about lately!" She's clearly stressed and anxious

There's a knock on the door frame "Everything okay in here?" Jay says after knocking

Tammy sighs "J-Just, a bit anxious."

"A bit?" Julie questions

The scene moves to Jay, and the new ninja getting off the bounty, they look up and see the rubble of the ruins pierce the clouds

"Hold up." Lloyd says, coming down

"What is it, dad?"

"You're all going to need these." Lloyd says, handing them shoulder armor "These are imbued with the essence of the String Weaver flower."
