Two weeks later

This has to been one of the busiest month of my llife and I'm so tired,I'm definitely taking my honeymoon after the wedding. Kelly is handling most of the important stuff like securing the venue, decor,music and food etc.
I was on my way home to discuss the color scheme and everything else with Terrence

Husband-Please pass by the doctor and fetch results
Me-Okay and please make pasta

We gave Juanita the week off because her grandkids came to see her so we wanted her to enjoy it and Terrence has been cooking since she's been gone

I arrived at the doctor's after a few minutes and went straight to Dr Shirley's office,I knocked and she welcomed me after a few seconds

Dr:Mrs Howard
Taraji:Hi I'm here to get our results
Dr:Oh yes but I need to talk to you
Taraji:Oh okay

I took a seat opposite her and pulled a file on her desk opening it

Dr:I know we talked a few weeks ago about your fertility issues but there is something important we need to discuss
Taraji:Is there something wrong?
Dr:You had one of your fallopian tubes removed because of the rapture and that is where fertilization takes place which makes your chance of carrying a baby close to zero because you only have one tube
Taraji:Doctor you telling me what I already know
Dr:I don't know it happen but you pregnant Mrs Howard

I think the world stopped spinning for a minute.

Dr:Mrs Howard did you hear me
Taraji:I can't be pregnant they told me it was impossible
Dr:Well you pregnant a little over 10 weeks which is still early but I triple checked everything and recieved the same results and your are indeed pregnant but I can scan you so you can be sure
Taraji:Please do that

Everything was just happening so quick and I was holding my breath the whole time,I was laid on my back on the bed and she pressed some gel on my stomach and I think I started breathing again when I heard the heart beat of my my baby...MY BABY. I never thought that would ever happen

I was back on my feet within seconds and she prescribed some meds

Taraji:But I had my period not long ago and i haven't been feeling any different besides the slight headaches and the fatigue so i don't understand
Dr:It's your miracle baby and I'm happy for you so just take these meds and come see me next week so I can refer you to someone whose a specialist in gynaecology so you get the best treatment
Taraji:Thank you doctor

The drive home today took longer than any other days or many I was  just too eager to get home and tell Terrence,she gave me the scans and everything and I looked at the scan at every stop I made I just couldn't believe it. I closed the car quicker than I've ever and rushed inside to find Terrence grating cheese on the board

Terrence:Hey baby

He took my bags from me and placed them on the counter along with the scans of our baby which he didn't even notice

Taraji:I got something to tell you
Terrence:What's wrong...are you okay?
Taraji:Terrence I'm pregnant
Terrence:Huh
Taraji:I don't know how it happened but when I went to fetch the results the doctor wanted to speak to me for a few minutes and she told me every and did the sonogram and baby it's real I'm pregnant

I handed the scan over to him and he couldn't move his eyes away from it let alone speak

Terrence:Baby it's real
Taraji:Yes it is
Terrence:You carrying our child baby

I wiped the tears that slipped down his eyes and he gave me a kiss

Terrence:Baby I don't know what to say I'm overwhelmed with joy
Taraji:I know this is a real surprise but i know you happy and so am i
Terrence:I'm over the moon
Taraji:Terrence I love you and I love you more that you gave me one of the biggest things I've wanted in my life I'll love you forever
Terrence:Yes forever because we are in this for life. Man I don't know should we still discuss the wedding
Taraji:Yes we do but I'm so tired right now can we do while in bed
Terrence:Just freshen up and I bring your food in the bedroom and we'll discuss everything then

Am I a bad man? I'm probably the worst man on earth for being so happy that Taraji is carrying my baby and I haven't even shown interest in my first born but I can't help it this is a real miracle for us because we had almost given up on her getting pregnant but then this happen and I'm over the moon. Taraji just finished her food and now we discussing our wedding

Taraji:I'll ask Gabby to be one of my bridesmaid along with Vivica and Tasha but not the rest of those girl
Terrence:Then Dwayne has to be my best man then the guys
Taraji:Should we get a band or a DJ?
Terrence:Whatever you want baby all I have to do is show up
Taraji:No budget
Terrence:With the wedding coming up the Ashad and Son contract is a done deal so no budget go all out
Taraji:Okay
Terrence:I still can't believe your have our baby growing in you

I moved my hand down to her stomach which was still flat but I know our baby is in there

Taraji:I'm still waiting for someone to wake me up and tell me I'm dreaming
Terrence:Well this is not a dream we definitely have a mini you growing in there
Taraji:A mini me? So you want a girl?
Terrence:Boy or girl I'm just happy to be having a baby with you.
