Foreword

Hear these voices,
hear the words coming from
the core of a caliginous heart;
these fragments of emotions
written between terse verses
bled by the poet.

Taste the rustiness
of midnight ordeals
you have never had,
let it consume your thoughts,
let it exhaust your heart too.

And who knows?
Maybe these voices,
these words of pain
and bitterness

could be the same silent screams
you had drowned in your throat,
or a glass of sorrow
you had forced yourself to drink
out of thirst for recognition.
