They had spent their last night together in the hotel room making love until they finally fell asleep, too exhausted to keep their eyes open any longer.

They had forgotten to close the blinders and the sun woke them up.
"No!" Harry said brokenly and buried his face in Louis's chest.

Louis could feel tears burning in his eyes and he hugged Harry close.
"I love you princess. Nothing will change that." He mumbled against Harry's soft curls.

"Let's just get away somewhere. We can hide in a cabin far away." Harry answered.

"I wish we do that but then he'll release the pictures." Louis replied with a sigh.

"I just found you. I love you." Harry said quietly.

Louis couldn't keep the tears away anymore. They started to roll down his cheeks and his chest was shaking. Harry immediately lifted his head to see what was going on and his heart shattered into a thousand pieces when he laid eyes on a crying Louis. His own eyes teared up and soon the tears tipped over.

"I'm sorry. I know I'm supposed to be the strong one." Louis managed to get out between sobs.

"It's okay to fall apart Love." Harry said and hugged him close in an attempt to comfort him.

They cried a little bit more and when they had calmed down and Harry was once again laying with his head on Louis's chest and Louis was caressing Harry's arm with his fingertips, Louis started to talk.
"You know what? When this is over and we have caught your stalker I'm gonna quit working as a bodyguard."

"Are you sure? Why?" Harry questioned softly.

"The only reason I became a bodyguard in the first place was because of the guilt I put on myself because of what happened to mum and Fizzie. Thanks to you I talked to Dan about it and I have been able to let go of some of that guilt." Louis said.

"Thank God! I would worry sick if you worked as a bodyguard but I also want you to be happy so I would never have said anything if that would have been something you wanted to do." Harry replied and bit his lower lip.

"You make me happy Harry." Louis said softly and kissed the top of Harry's head.

"You make me happy too but I want you to have more Lou. Everything you ever dreamed about." Harry said with a smile.

"I want the same for you Love." Louis beamed. Harry was too good to be true. He couldn't believe that he had found someone like him.

"Pick someone who's supportive." Harry whispered.

"What?" Louis asked.

"Just something my mum used to say. Pick someone who's supportive." Harry repeated, higher this time.

"Your mum sounds like a wise woman. I can't wait to meet her, ehm, if it would come to that one day. No pressure." Louis said with a blush.

Harry smacked a wet kiss on Louis's jaw. "Of course I want you to meet her! I can't wait to show you off." Harry grinned.

"Good. It's fair, I mean you already met my family." Louis smirked and ruffled Harry's hair.

"Yeah. So tell me about your hopes and dreams Lou. How do you see your future?" Harry asked softly and hugged Louis closer.

"I'm a simple guy. A white picket fence, a couple of kids. Maybe I'll go back to school and finish my degree so I can have a 9 to 5 job." Louis chuckled. He hesitated before he added "You. I really want you to be a part of my future as well."

Harry let out a relieved breath.
"Good! I thought you forgot about me there for a second."

"Never." Louis said sincerely.

"I like your future plans, Lou. They're a lot like mine minus the degree but who knows, maybe I'll get one of those as well." Harry grinned.

"You're a huge star, Harry." Louis pointed out.

"So? There must be a way to combine it all. Writing songs, performing but still have a white picket fence and a couple of kids. Oh, and bars on the windows. Don't forget about those." Harry chuckled.

"Yeah, I think you'll be able to combine it." Louis answered. This conversation gave him so much hope. He decided to share something only his mum had known about.
"I used to write songs."

"Really? That's great Lou!" Harry said excitedly.

"You don't even know if they're good or not." Louis chuckled.

"If you wrote them I'm sure they are. Maybe you can show them to me some time?" Harry asked.

"Yeah."

They stayed silent after that knowing that they had to face the unavoidable. Louis was the one who finally addressed it.
"We need to go baby."

"Nooo!" Harry whined and hugged him harder.

"It's just for a while. We can talk on the phone all the time. I'll bet we'll be great at phonesex." Louis chuckled before he added, "And I'll stay close, okay?"

"Okay."

They shared a long kiss, not caring about morning breaths before they got out of bed. They got dressed and walked to the parking garage with heavy hearts. Harry held Louis's hand in a spasmodic grip for the whole ride home. Louis stopped the car a couple of blocks from Harry's house so he could kiss him one last time. The stalker had managed to take pictures of them inside Harry's house so he didn't want to risk it.

They had called Jeffrey on the way back and he had promised that Harry's new bodyguard would be waiting for them by the house. When Louis pulled up at the house Harry was on the verge of tears. Louis squeezed his hand for a moment.
"I love you."

"I love you." Harry answered.

They stepped out of the car and Mr. Black greeted them. They walked inside and Louis went to his bedroom to pack his things. Harry helped him out. When they were done Louis gave Harry a quick hug. He caressed Harry's cheek and headed for the door.
As soon as he stepped outside he drew in a deep breath and screamed from the top of his lungs.
"I'M LEAVING ASSHOLE!"

Niall looked up in surprise. He had just stepped outside to pick up his mail. Geesh, that bodyguard of Harrys was really freaking weird.
