~Izuku's POV~
As Izuku was walking home, he passed under a bridge. He normally hid under there to avoid bullies and other people in general. Before he had the chance to drop his bag and sit down, a strange slimy substance escaped the sewers through a manhole. He felt it enter his mouth and trap him.
"Don't worry, this will be quick..." The slime rasped out those words, and in that moment he realized it was a villain. Izuku tried to struggle and fight back, but he quickly realized it was futile. He lost all hope of living to see the next few minutes before he heard it.
"Never fear, for I am here!" Izuku's eyes widened when he heard him. All Might. The symbol of peace and the hero he had always adored. A few moments later, the slime villain was in a bottle. As All Might was about to jump away and leave, Izuku grabbed onto him.
"I always appreciate fans, but this is too much young man. Let go this instant."
"All might, if I let go now I'll die!"
"I-I suppose you're right"
~Timeskip~
"All Might? Do you think I can be a hero even though I don't have a good quirk?"
"I'm sorry young man, but it's far too dangerous. Be a police officer or something like that if you want to help people." With that, All Might jumped away, leaving the small boy on a rooftop.
Izuku sat down, contemplating his options. He had nothing left for him in this life. He never knew his father, his mother died a few weeks ago, and now his dream had been crushed by the hero he had always adored.
Izuku knew what to do.
