Ken just finished his work earlier than the usual, when his secretary interrupted the quite atmosphere of the office.
"Excuse me, Sir" Jen, his secretary asked nakabalik na ito after a week ng kanyang leave.
"Yes Jen? 'Diba wala naman na akong meetings?" He asked without looking, gusto lang niyang magpahinga for the rest of the day because he feel so drained sa lahat ng paper works.
"I know po Sir, pero may naghahanap po sa inyo gusto daw po kayong makausap" She reasoned out.
"I told you hindi ako tatanggap ng kahit sinong bisita okay? I just want to sleep and please tell that person to go home---
It was cut when a tall woman spoken, "So you mean I have to go back right now after 12 hours of flight?"
Ken stood up from his swivel chair to make sure that it was his sister's voice. A girl standing right next to his secretary with a bright smile on her face, yes it's definitely Shane.
"Ate? What are you doing here?" He immediately welcomed his sister with a hugged.
"Ahm wala man lang bang 'I miss you' diyan? It seems like you don't want me here?"
"Of course not, ano ba I miss you so much, sana nagsabi ka para napasundo kita" Ken frowned and then offered a seat for his sister.
Shane is now living sa States since their mom died. Syempre nung una tutol si Ken dito dahil kamamatay pa lamang ng kanilang ina at hindi niya alam kung papaano siya mabubuhay ng mag-isa. Pero naintindihan naman niyang may sariling buhay ang kanyang ate. The first three weeks na wala si Shane sa tabi niya ay napaka-hirap. Pakiramdam niya iniwan siya ng mga taong akala niya ay makakapitan niya sa mga oras na walang-wala siya. Pero good for him dahil kahit papaano ay nakapag-adjust din ito. Binibisita niya si Shane kapag may mga special occasions like Birthday or Holidays. Simula naman noon nagsasabi ito kapag uuwi ng Pilipinas but, obviously Ken was shocked that day because it's very unusual for him to have his ate in a normal day.
He is now curious behind reason kung bakit nga ba nandito si Shane. "So what brings you here?" Ken asked, it's not even his birthday nor their mom's death anniversary.
"Hmmm. It's because I'm getting married" Shane exclaimed and showed her hand with a beautiful diamond ring.
"Woah? For real?"
"Mygod Ken may ring na nga ako oh" Shane confirmed.
"I just can't imagine, gusto ka pa lang pakasalan ni Kuya Rey?" Pangaasar nito sa kapatid.
He received a slap on his arm from her sister. "Idiot. Ganda ko lang talaga kaya papakasalan niya ako ano ba" She said and rolled her eyes.
Ken approached his sister and hugged her from the back. "Joke lang ate eto naman, Congratulations I'm very happy for you sa wakas ito na 'yon"
Naalala niya tuloy since nung mga bata pa sila palaging nababanggit ni Shane ang ideal man niya and her dream wedding. And now it's gonna happen, her sister is finally getting married.
"But always remember na you're still my baby boy ha even though magiging Mrs. na ako" She pinched Ken's cheek.
"Hais ate please stop doing that" Pagrereklamo ni Ken habang iniiwasan ang kurot ni Shane.
"Stop doing the what??" Kunwaring pasgtatanong nito habang patuloy pa rin sa pag-abot ng mukha ni Ken.
"Ate I swear please stop namumula na pisnge ko oh"
"Ok I'll stop now. Hahahaha pikon ka pa rin talaga hanggang ngayon"
"Please enough na with all the pang-aasar so what's your plan now? I mean will you stay here for good after the wedding?"
