John, I don't want to upset you and Madeleine with not having Evan spending time with you guys there, but our schedules are really tight and maybe without Evan. You could guys still enjoy quality time together, now that you have the baby. You know.
John: Okay, but next week. Evan will be mine.
Heidi: Yes, you have my word. Oh and say my hello to Mad and the baby.
The call ends.
Lights shift to Evan.
Evan: Mom, uhm. Zoe invited me to her house for dinner next weekend.
Heidi: Honey, you know you have to go to John's next weekend. And did you tell me a year ago that Zoe and you weren't hanging out anymore?
Evan: Please?
Heidi: I gave him my word Evan. And this Zoe dinner thing,

Evan: So what now? *angered* You'll force me to spend the night with John and Mad and their baby? *slams the table*

Evan: I'm spending the night at the Murphy's!
