Jealous

You sighed as you pulled your scarf above your nose, which was turning a bright red from the cold. You watched as your boyfriend, Asa, fell into step with you as you walked towards the supermarket.

It was a cold day, and in turn made it worse that you had planned to go grocery shopping today.

Finally making your way into the store, a blast of warm air hit your cold face and you let out a sigh of relief.

Pulling a cart along with you, you quickly got to work, scouring down the familiar aisles, picking up your food for the next two weeks.

You sighed, looking at your list. You had lost Asa ages ago, and you were finishing what was left of the grocery list that you had hurriedly put together the night before.

Walking down an almost empty aisle, you spotted cereal on your list. You looked over the shelves until you found the brand that you were looking for, Lucky Charms. Though, the box was on the top shelf, and you weren't tall enough to reach it. You scolded yourself for letting Asa wander off, as you needed him.

You eventually reached it, jumping down from the bottom shelf as you did so. Tossing the box into your cart, you unwrapped your scarf from your neck having felt constricting. You felt a pair of arms wrap around your waist and you jumped, elbowing the person behind you.

"Jesus!" Asa exclaimed, as your turned around. "This is what I get for trying to be romantic?"

You couldn't help but giggle as he rubbed at the spot in his abdomen where you hit him.

"Sorry," you chuckled, leaning on the handle of the cart as you waited for him to recover.

He glared at you as he stood straighter.

"Can I get a hug?" he asked, holding his arms out.

You looked at him strangely. He did not seem like the 20-year-old man that you had brought into the store, but nonetheless, this was your boyfriend. You gladly gave him a hug, though, you noticed his grip was tighter than usual.

"There's a bloke looking at you love," he whispered as you pulled away.

As you turned back to the cart, you caught the eye of a man a bit further down the aisle. He immediately looked down as you made eye contact.

Asa wrapped his arms around your waist again, nuzzling his head into the crook of your neck. He pressed soft kisses to your shoulder and neck, making you bite back the urge to turn around and kiss him right there.

"Asa, we're in public," you muttered, swatting his face away.

"So?" he asked, pressing one last kiss to your shoulder.

You gave him a gentle glare and he raised his hands.

"He was checking you out," Asa muttered as you left the aisle towards the cash register.

"No, he wasn't Asa," you chuckled, rolling your eyes.

"He was."

At home, you dropped the bags of food on the floor as you trudged in from the outdoors. Stomping off the loose snow and hanging your coats in the closet.

You had just turned to pick up a bag when you felt yourself being pushed against the door behind you. Asa's lips immediately found yours, him holding your face in his hands.

"Asa," you managed to mutter.

"Mhm?" he hummed as he made his way down your neck.

"I hate to be the one to stop this, but the frozen food is going to thaw if we don't put it away," you said, biting the inside of your cheek to stop yourself from moaning as he began to suck on a sensitive part.

He sighed, kissing your cheek before turning to pick up some of the bags. You watched on as he trudged into the kitchen. As you picked up the last of the bags, you couldn't help but think about what just happened. Sure, the two of you hadn't been intimate in a while, but that never seemed to bother him before. You were both very busy people and even the trip to the supermarket was planned out of sheer dumb luck that you were both free today. But then, the idea came.

As you walked past one of the mirrors, you caught the bright red mark on your neck. You chuckled, though, your face turned red.

"Was it that bloke?" you asked, placing a bag of dried pasta into the pantry.

"What are you talking about?" Asa asked leaning on the kitchen counter as he waited for you to finish unpacking the last of the food.

You stretched your neck slightly, revealing the red mark which you could only assume was getting darker by now.

He smirked and you rolled your eyes.

"Were you jealous?" you asked, kicking a box underneath a shelf, trying to close the door.

"Me? Jealous?" he scoffed. "No way!"

You shrugged, knowing that there was little to no truth in his statement. "It was just a thought," you said as you closed the pantry door behind you.

As you turned around, your chest hit Asa's, and you looked up at him, a smirk on your face.

"Can I help you Ace?" you asked, crossing your arms over your chest.

His lips found yours as he tightly held your hips to his. You could feel him underneath you, semi-hard already. You pulled away, out of breath.

"I think that I can help you with that."
