Unfrozen Love

~* Chapter 5 *~

"What are you doing here?" Gray asked sternly with anger in his voice, also staring at the frightened Yuki.

Sting raise an eyebrow, "We have to take this girl from you. We've heard that she needs a soul mate."

"How did you know that?" Gray questioned, "I don't remember telling any other guild about this situation."

Sting chuckled, "We're dragon slayers of Sabertooth, even thought the magic games are over, we still stand. We know everything... Well, sorta."

"Frosch thinks so too." The green cat inside the pink suit said, his eyes wide and his happy-go-lucky expression showing across his whole face.

The magenta cat with his serious facial expression stood in front of Yuki, saying, "Don't worry! We're here to help you find a soul mate!"

Yuki squeezed her eyes before shaking her head, "No! I want Gray!"

Lector's face dropped, and he let out a long sigh, "You act just like a child, you know that right?"

"Gray!" Yuki yelled, tears welling up in her eyes.

Gray clicked his tongue before yelling, "Ice Make: Lance!" He shot his arm forward, large and tipped arrow-like lances started to zoom out, multiplying each time.

As the lances all attacked Sting and Rogue, they both transformed, blocking the attack with their bare scales. "Crap." Gray cursed, "Forgot they were dragon slayers."

"White Dragons Roar!" Sting yelled before sucking up large amounts of air, letting them all out with one blow. White, bright and powerful light flew out of his lips, heading towards the two mages.

Yuki's eyes widened, she extended her hand out, yelling, "Gray!" The magic skill crashed, creating large amount of dust to rise upwards.

"Fire Dragons Roar!" Another yell sounded, and fire was flew back towards them.

Then, on the other side of the fireball stood Gray, running right behind the great ball of fire. "Ice Make: Freeze!" The fire ball disappeared, and steam started to spread out.

"Steam... That won't work on us dragon slayers-" Sting stopped mid sentence as he flew backwards, feeling the unexpected force pushing him back.

"Sting!" Rogue yelled, watching his partner crash onto the cave wall.

"Sense of smell and hearing won't work here in this palace." Natsu said, his eyes glowing red, "I only depend on sense of feel, sight, and guts on hoping I don't punch any of my nakamas." Gray flew out of the cloud of steam, kicking Rogue flat on the stomach.

"Rogue! Sting!" Lector yelled, his stunned expression showing as he ran after his partner, followed by the jumpsuit green cat.

"Gray!" Yuki stood up, running towards the ice mage.

"Yuki..." Gray was taken back at the sudden movement, which was a tight hug from the onyx haired female.

He can feel hot tears running dow his bare skin, "I'm scared..." Yuki said, wrapping her arms around Gray's bare chest, stuffing her face.

Gray was in a lost of words. He doesn't know what to say to the young girl. His face flushed as he felt the tears run down his bare skin, and even shivered at the feel of her hot breath on his chest.

"Natsu, let's go." Gray commented before picking Yuki up bridal way, running out into the opening from the hole earlier.

"W-what?!" Natsu yelled in surprise, "Aren't we going to finish them off?!"

"We have to get the others and leave!" Gray yelled back, already on the hallway. He can still feel her body shaking in his arms, and he can tell that she was terrified.

"Sh..." He said with soothing words, "It's okay, I'm here... You're guardian is here..." He felt weird for saying the word guardian, and something inside him tells him not to say that word, but a different kind of word.

Yuki wrapped her arm around Gray's neck, nodding in response. "Thank you..." He felt her body relax, and he felt proud and relief inside him.

"Gray! Yuki! Natsu!" Lucy's voice yelled.

"Luigi!" Natsu yelled, waving his hand in the air with a grin.

"It's Lucy, Natsu!" Lucy yelled, slightly angered by the nickname she was given.

"Aye!" Happy landed in front of her with his palm in the air.

"Yuki-san!" Wendy said, her soft voice reaching into Yuki's ears, "Are you okay?" Yuki nodded before removing one of her hands away from Gray's neck, patting Wendy's hair softly.

"I'm alright."

"Gray, Natsu, Lucy, Wendy, I found a shortcut out of the castle." Erza said from behind them.

"What are we waiting for?" Natsu said, running off, "LET'S GO BACK HOME AND AWAY FROM THIS PIECE OF SH*T!"
