You used to light up my life
I used to be sharp like a knife.
You used to wipe up my tears,
With your voice which was music to my ears.
My heart would flutter,
Only at your sight.
I'd try to mutter,
But you'd shush me with your finger.
You'd tell me to carefully listen!
To what you have to say,
But I just said "later" and I went away.
Your smell would fill the air,
But you weren't there.
I searched for you everywhere?
I even screamed you name.
When I finally found you,
You were dead
With a rose in your hand.
My heart did sink
And I felt like dying,
Cuz I'm too out of breath
And my tears aren't drying.
Seeing you like this,
Realising you left this world
Now I'm out of my bliss.
And you're not here anymore.
I wanna say sorry,
I didn't appreciate you enough.
I wanna say thank you,
I know it was really rough.
