A grape from a vine
Brewed to perfection
Just a sip of wine
For a little hallucination
Because wine is my friend
It eased the pain
Though it didn’t mend
Only screwed my brain
I thought I had her
But what she saw was a friend
Thus she ended it in summer
So was all my effort worth it in the end?
Those thoughts should fade
My brain must persuade
Just a sip of wine
And my heart will be perfectly fine
