After seeing apollo has learned his lesson from his time as a full mortal zeus decides he must try again this time with another god. With the help of Hephaestus they poison Ares during an olypmain dinner leaving the god without his immortality. Since apollo's looks were his everything they take away Ares' strength and dump him in camp Jupiter to redeem himself and join the gods once more.
