His over-priced car pulled into my driveway after, what I heard was, an eight hour trip. I watch through glass as Billie ran outside. When his feet are revealed from the interior of his car, I ran upstairs and into my room, guarding myself from Finneas. The last thing I wanna do is talk to him right now.

I know it sounds dramatic, but I can't help it. If this is dramatic, I don't care how far I go.

I mean, if anyone was in my situation, i'm sure they'd do the same. Right? I throw myself onto the mess I call my bed like a little kid. My head rests in my hands.

The light shining through the window dulls as the day vanished. This is gonna be a long 'few days'. "Ali? You can't stay in your room all day y'know" Billie calls. I roll my eyes, knowing she'll never know I did. A manifold of air enters and exits my lungs. As I travel over to the door, I lean my head back, dreading the outside world. Well, the rest of my house.

The doorknob turns, causing a smiling Billie to fill my vision. "I made dinner" she raised an eyebrow. "Thanks, but i'm not hungry." my tongue sits on my inner cheek. "Bitch. You haven't eaten all day." she laughs. My face burns red as I realize. "You can't hide from him forever." she whispered. I chuckle. "Says who?"

I go to close the painted white door but she stopped me. "Just, have dinner with us." she pouts. "Billie, seriously. I'll be okay in here." I insist. "I didn't really give you a choice.. babygirl"

"That's not fair.." I look at my feet. She grabbed my arm, ever so gently. "I'll make it up to you. I can guarantee it baby" she smiled. "Fine. Only for a little bit"
