Woah!
Chloe interrupted my improv for AN OUIJA BOARD??
What business does Chloe have owning one of these?!?!?
Why would she want to talk to the dead?!
"We are gonna find a ghost and talk to it tonight!"
Chloe exclaimed.
Maddie looked really uneasy.
"Well, you guys can, but you can count me out."
She said.
Chloe asked,
"Why not?"
Maddie sassily responded,
"Chloe, are you sure this is safe?
Because I wasn't planning on becoming possessed tonight."
Chloe laughed.
"Oh, don't worry Maddie!
Ouija Boards are just toys!
It's all fun and games!"
But I wasn't buying it and it didn't look like anyone else was either.
Chloe exasperatedly said,
"Oh come on!
Are you guys scared?"
"I'm not scared!"
I blurted.
Chloe gestured to me and yelled,
"See guys!
Nia totally wants to do this!"
Wait, I never said that!
Chloe handed the board to the now shaking Maddie and told her to put both her hands on the planchette.
(The planchette is the moving heart shaped piece of wood or plastic.)
Maddie did as she was told, and Chloe encouraged her to try to talk to a spirit.
"H-Hello?"
Maddie asked.
"Are there any dead people here?"
We waited for a few minutes.
I glanced at Kenzie and Kendall, and they were both petrified.
To be honest, I was a little nervous too.
We got tired of waiting, so Maddie finally yelled,
"HELLO??
YOU GONNA ANSWER OR WHAT?!?"
Maddie was ready to give up, but then the planchette began moving!
It slid to the word
YES.
Holy crap!
It's working??
This is freaky!
Kendall yelped, but Kenzie put her hand over Kendall's mouth.
Maddie's eyes were huge, but Chloe was totally fine!
How was she not just a little frightened?
Maddie broke the silence.
"Um...Hi?"
The planchette slid to the letters,
H-E-L-L-O.
Oh my God!!!
Now I'm really scared!!
Maddie asked another question,
"What is your name?"
R-A-C-H-E-L.
"When did you die?"
1-9-0-4.
"How old were you?"
10.
"Do you know who we are?"
YES.
WHAT??
We have a ghost stalker named Rachel???
NOW I'M OFFICIALLY FREAKING OUT!!!
But compared to Kenzie I was totally fine.
It looked like she was having a panic attack!
But Chloe still looked eager as ever.
"Ask another question!"
She told Maddie.
"Who is your favorite out of the five of us?"
C-H-L-O-E.
"Oh really?
Chloe's your favorite?"
C-H-L-O-E
I-S
M-I-N-E.
Chloe didn't seem so eager anymore...
