I remember not everything
Not all the things that hurt
I remember some things
That brought a smile on my face
While I pulled at my skirt
I remember the whisper
Or a shadow - but not its fall
I remember the truth of innocence
And amused smiles in the dark
I remember many things
If I try hard enough
But sometimes, in the rarest moments
In the caveren - bottomless and black
I don't remember anything
Not even myself

I Remember
PoetryA spoken word poem I wrote in under ten minutes. Ten minutes isn't enough time to make anything up, so all I had was truth an experience.
