After the events of Adventure Time Finn and Jake's legacy still barely holds on, the only people who remember them are a select few who lived at the time of Finn and Jake. Now 1000 years later a strange boy with his friend, whose a cat arrive at the Land of OoO from a distant land long forgotten. Their arrival sparks memories from the old and new friendships for the young, How will those react to the new arrivals?
"oh glob that trip took way to long for my comfort.." a h/n colored boy sighs as he sits down on his tiny boat with a tiny cat in his lap sleeping, while this cat is sleeping the boy slowly pets it
"jeez.. at least you cant sleep kitty" he says while looking down at the cat as he pets it slowly, thinking back he wonders how long they have been out at sea weeks? months? years? he seems to have forgotten, his hair flows in the wind as he looks up and sees a rather giant mountain
"is that.. land..?" he stands up and carries the cat in his hands, looking out he sees a pink mountain with what he hopes is snow ontop of said mountain
"YES!! HEH HAHA" he cheers while jumping up and down excitingly, it has been sometime ever since he has seen land and he had almost given up at finding it, the cat in his hands hisses and bites his thumb in annoyance
"ow! hey your up!" he says happily at the fact that they have finally found something after so long, he points at the mountain while singing
"we found la-and we found la-and" he sings, the cat turns around and gazes at the mountain with a uncaring gaze and sighs before jumping off his hands and curls up into a ball and goes back to sleep
"going back to sleep so soon kitty?" he teases as the cat opens one eye to look at him and closes it to go back to sleep
"awe alright i guess we will- WOAH" he screams as a wave swallows their tiny boat and they go flying out into the sea, the boy looks around frantically and sees the cat and quickly swims to it, when he got their he grabbed it and swam to the surface of the sea
"you okay?!" he panic as the cat coughs and spits some water out, he sigh in relief and swim towards the beach and finally after a little bit he tiredly climbs out of the water and lays on his back to take a break
"haaa phew i made it" he reathes heavily and slowly gets up and stares out at the new land that he has discovered... the land that many know as OoO
"i wonder what kind of stuff we can find here right kitty?" he asks while carrying the cat who is now resting in his arms, he chuckles and walks off towards the pink mountain while taking in the other areas of this new land
"is that... an actual solid ice mountain? then theres a... pink castle.. i hope those people are friendly.." they boy thinks to himself while walking towards the candy like kingdom before him
Timeskip
"goodness what a place, everything is candy!" he giggles while taking a piece of the wall and nibbling on it
"yeah it is candy!" he eats the rest of the candy in his had while the cat he had was now walking around near his legs
"what in interesting place.. we must explore!" he points while walking through the candy kingdom, soon after he runs into someone and knocks them over
"s-sorry!" he exclaims while helping the person up, soon after he realizes the person is actually made out of candy
"ohh its alright" the person, well circular candy with red and white strips says before standing and looking at the boy who knocked him over
"are you new here? ive never seen you ever in the land of ooo before" he asks
"uhh yeah me and my friend here just got to this "land of ooo" you talk about" he says while kneeling down to talk to the candy man
"well welcome to the candy kingdom then good sir" the peppermint says while bowing to the boy, the boy just sweat drops and scratches his cheek awkwardly
"u-uh yeah thanks"he chuckles awkwardly as the candy stands straight up
"what is your name may i ask?" the peppermint asks as the boy looks at him
"ah my name y/n.." he responds before waving awkwardly
"alright ill cya later my cat has gone missing and i need to find her" he says before walking away from the peppermint before he could say anything else
"ah my lady!" the peppermint dressed as a butler says when y/n walks past some woman who was all pink and had a crown above her head he flips on his hood to prevent himself form getting more attention and starts looking for his cat when he walked past the pink woman she suddenly stops
"finn..?" she says to herself and turns to see you turn the corner
Princess Bubblegum POV
'this feeling.. it feels familiar, i havent felt this ever since finn..' i think to myself as i stop and turn to get a better look at the person
"whats up babe?" Marceline asks while floating above me disrupting m vision from the boy who walked past me
"u-uh its nothing" i respond before turning back to peppermint butler
"who was that person who just walked by?" i ask before Peppermint Butler replies
"ah that kind sir was Y/n! such a kind man he said that he just arrived here at Ooo" he replies before bowing to me
'intresting.. a new person here at Ooo there hasnt even been a person here for a while.." i think to myself
"was he a human?" Marceline asks and Peppermint Butler nods in response
"yes actually, strange right? i havent seen a human here in a few hundred years" I think to myself before turning and walking after the boy
"PB?" Marceline asks while following me
"i want to ask that boy a question" i respond as she shrugs and follows us
'who is this boy and why does he remind me of finn..'
