There she was, lying on the bed, her golden red curls sprawled around the paper pillow case. Her olive skin paled was almost translucent, I could see her blood sprinting through her veins. I walked forward in daze.

She was bruised and falling apart, "George." I whimpered. 

She looked peaceful in sleep, calm, as if she was dreaming. I waited for her, Hour flew by I waited, waited for her eyes to flutter, waited for her hand to twitch, for her heart to pound stronger. The room grew cold, like a blue fog wrapping around my shoulders, death was lingering in door way, coughing out chills of excitement. Frost formed around the window and creeped around the corners of my shadow, strangling me with a fright to painful to explain.
