An ElBar Story (Season 1)

Unexpected Meeting

It was 10 o'clock in the evening. Barış has just gone out with his car after another fight with Gupse, in order to calm down.

As he was driving slowly past the coastal of Istanbul, he decided to stop and get some fresh air, so he pulled the car over and got out.

As soon as he climed out of his car, he turned around and noticed that there was someone sitting on one of the benches. He took some little steps and saw a long, wavy ginger hair.

When he took some more steps, he heard a familiar crying.

"Elçin?"  he whispered to himself, wondering if it was her

When he reached the bench, he saw that it really was her - Elçin Sangu. His former screen partner, whom he developed feelings for, while filming their show.

"Elçin?!" Barış exclaimed with a calm voice, sitting next to her

"What's wrong?"  he asked her, a little worried, as he saw her crying

Elçin looked at him with her eyes red and full of tears that were running down her beautiful face.

"I am tired, Barış..."  she answered him "I am tired of everything..."

"Tell me what happened." Barış replied, catching her hand

"Yunus..."  Elçin said "He proposed to me."

Barış gave her a question look and she continued

"After I said "No", he slapped me and asked me why, since I had said that I dreamed of marrying my soulmate. After I said that he wasn't my soulmate, he got even madder, pushed me on the sofa and tried to rape me, but, fortunately, I managed to escape quickly."

"How dare he!?"  Barış exclaimed, a little sad

"And you?"  Elçin asked him "Why did you come here?"

"I broke up with Gupse."  Barış answered her "I am tired of her lies and manipulations. I got angry and decided that it was time to put an end to this relationship, if I can call it 'relationship'. She took her things and left before I did."

"By the way, I am sorry for asking, but why did you deny Yunus's proposal?"  he asked

"Because he is not the one whom my heart wants. I cannot marry him, when my heart belongs to someone else."  she answered "The one whom my heart, actually, wants, is you. The only one whom it has been beating for, since the first day we met. I don't want to hide this anymore"

Hearing this, Barış's eyes suddenly started shining of happiness, because that's how he also felt for Elçin, and said "I will not hide that I also fell in love with you. I am madly in love. It started while we were filming "Kiralık Aşk". That is one of the reason I insisted on  filing the second season and after that - our film "Mutluluk Zamanı"."

"Really?"  Elçin asked, making a short smile

"Yes." he answered, smiling back at her

As they were looking at each other's eyes, they started to slowly approach each other and once their lips touched, they started kissing. They kissed for a while and after some minutes of kissing, they slowly pulled away and headed to Barış's car.
