Chapter 39 Laughter

Sumire POV

*Next Day*

The next day was super awkward. Everyone was having a hard time approaching me but I didn't mind and then we all noticed Aki coming out from the building.

Endou: "What's up, Aki?"

Aki: "Hm... Kabeyama-kun's not answering no matter how much I knock."

Kazemaru: "Endou."

Kurimatsu: "Practice is going to start soon..."

Then Endou went inside the building. I watched as he went inside the building but then went back to stretching. Then when we started practice, Kabeyama came out with Endou. He seemed a little down but joined the rest of us.

Endou: "Go, Kabeyama!"

Kabeyama: *breaths* 

I watched as Kabeyama was kicking the ball while Toramaru and Kogure were next to him. Then all of a sudden he got faster and passed them.

Kabeyama: "I won't give up! Because I love soccer!"

Aki: "You can do!"

Endou: "Looking good, Kabeyama!"

....Looks like it was nothing.

*Sunset*

Kudou: "Today's practice is over. Be prepared for tomorrow."

Then Dad started to leave. As soon as he left...

Boys: *sigh*

Some of boys also fell to the ground. I watched them for a second and then went to grab my bag.

Aki: "Ah... Kudou-san... where are you..."

I turned to Aki. Behind her, Megane and Haruna seemed to look uneasy.

"...Class. Excuse me."

Fudou POV

Everyone stared as Sumire started leaving.

Hijikata: "Class...? At this time?"

Kogure: "What kind of class goes on for this long?"

I quickly get dressed into my normal clothes and then follow after Sumire. But then lost track of her...

I looked up at the building and went inside.

Girls: "Kaaa!"

I covered my ears.
