I'm hardly anything special,

Blue eyes, brown hair and a smile,

I have less friends I see,

The ones I haven't in a while,

I've never had a broken heart,

Because I've never given it away,

I tend to keep to myself,

Because I don't have much to say,

I can blend into the ground,

So you won't even know I'm there,

I don't have any piercings,

And you'll never hear me swear,

I'm completely and utterly average,

So I've never understood,

How someone could think me special,

Or anything more than "good",

Maybe one day in the future,

I'll meet someone who's average too,

And we'll convince each other,

That we're more special than we know.
