I head into the student center.
Here it is my place of flourishing.
New and old friends around every corner.
My home away from home.
I walk around past the bean bags.
Straight through to the pool area.
I see him and I think I'll go talk to him for once on my own.
Hello there. . .
I babble on about the things I am passionate about.
To all those who are around.
I look to him to see what he thinks.
I'm not quite sure, what he sees.
I then get awkward and very embarrassed.
Then I decide I should part ways.
I feel my welcome has been overstayed.
I end with an awkward "you should hit me up on the snaps"
To my surprise he agrees and we exchange that info.
I feel like excited, I finally stepped outta my comfort zone.
He says we will talk soon.
I head out and start my way to a well deserved fall break.
