Chapter 20
I-I love....

Sayaka's POV

-Third day-
Ever since that happened, I haven't spoken a word to anyone. My daily routine would just be sleeping, waking up, eating, and locking myself up in my room. Ai and I still sleep together, but we never talked. I sat still on my bed, looking to my right which was a big open window. I could feel the breeze tickling my face from here and I really liked the feeling. While I was busy daydreaming, I heard a knock on my door (which I locked and only Ai had the spare key). I didn't bother answering it

"Sayaka." I heard a familiar stoic voice. I sighed and hid my whole body under the covers and pretended to be asleep. "Open the door. I know you're awake." I didn't move. I had no intention to. I heard him sigh and the sound of a key entering the keyhole surrounded the whole room. I was facing the side opposite to the door so I couldn't see him, I could only hear his footsteps getting closer to my form.

The side of my bed dipped just a little. He's probably seated behind me. I had my eyes closed and still didn't move.

"Get up." Authority was all over his voice but I couldn't care less. "Sayaka, I don't like repeating myself. Get up now or you'll be left behind." My eyes opened just a little. I turned around and pretended to look sleepy. "What time is it..?" I asked but I already know. "It's already 3pm. We'll leave at 4. Pack your things now if you don't want to get left behind. I expect you to finish within 20 minutes." I looked at the window and whispered to myself "And what do you care if I get left behind...?"

"Nothing." I was still staring blankly outside the window until I heard his footsteps completely disappear from our room. My tears fell quickly afterwards, the sound of my sobbing could probably be heard outside

I cursed myself and locked the door "Stop it Sayaka! You don't like him! He's nothing to you!!" I lied down on the bed, face first, and covered my head with my pillow while tears continued to fall "H-He's... Nothing.. To... You....." I repeated the same words over and over again until I felt sleep wash over me

Reiji's POV
-Kitchen-

"Ne, Ran-ran, has Sa-chan come out of her room yet? She hasn't eaten breakfast and lunch today..." I got a sigh from him as a reply "That midget hasn't eaten dinner yesterday too... Is she okay?" I looked down and remembered what she looked like when she found out that Ai-Ai was an android. She looks much worse now... Something probably happened to her after she found out about that...

Sayaka's POV

-4pm-

I woke up to someone tapping my shoulder "wake up." Same monotonic voice so I immediately knew who owned it. I sat up and stared outside the window again. "We're going. Your things are already packed." I checked the other side of my bed and saw all my stuff inside my bags. I muttered a quick thanks and carried all of them (3). One was a gigantic sling bag and it was a little heavy. The other two were shoulder bags and they had the same weight. I was carrying them all at the same time and I was wobbling. Ai rubbed the bridge of his nose and sighed. He immediately snatched all the bags out of my grasp and carried them all by himself. I held my head down and used my bangs to cover my eyes

"Are you coming yet?" He raised one of his eyebrows and looked at me "Yeah..." I quickly ran past him but I stopped when I was right in front of him "I'm sorry... Ai..." I didn't dare look back and continued to run towards the van.

I was greeted by our previous driver and he opened the door for me but Reiji and Ranmaru weren't there. "Where are the others?" He just smiled "They already went ahead. Only you and Mikaze-san will be my passengers" I swallowed the lump in my throat and entered the van, taking my previous seat which was the one nearest to the window. Ai arrived and gave my things to our driver which was placed at the back afterwards. He also took his previous seat, yeah, beside me... This is a big ass van and of all the seats he could've chosen, it just had to be the one beside mine. I sat up and took out my iPod from my pocket. I wore my earphones and played a song. It started and a familiar and soothing voice could be heard. I looked at the screen and saw the title in big fat letters

HOTARU

Oh, yeah, my iPod only has Ai's songs... I sighed and removed my earphones. I checked my whole list of songs and found out that about 5-10 of them were my compositions. I quickly placed all of them in one playlist and and chose a random song

"Sayaka." Nani...?

I saw myself in a field of white again

"This is a dream again, isn't it?" I sighed and started walking straight. "But what if it isn't?" I heard a voice from behind me and quickly turned around but saw no one. "Ai..? Aine..?" I frantically kept looking behind me as I tried to figure out who owns the monotonic voice. As I continued, a flash of light swept me away and I was suddenly in the middle of a meadowy hill with a tree right in the middle. I ran uphill and saw a mop of cyan behind it

"Ai..?" I slowly walked towards the tree and stopped. The person with cyan hair stood up and walked towards me. "Useless junior" he smiled and flicked my forehead. I wanted to hug him, tell him how much I still want him, since this is just a dream, he won't know anything in real life.

"Sayaka.....?" He looked at me with worry as I stood there frozen

"Sayaka...?" I couldn't move. I want to hug him so bad but why can't I move?!

"Sayaka..!" I.....

"Sayaka..!!" I-I l....

The world started to fade and so did Ai..

No...

I-I love.....
