Uveren, previous Snow Elven High Priestess of Atosh, she traveled to the grand chantry very young. Possibly the youngest in a hundred years. She was only 24, most Snow Elves would walk when they were more mature and wise, as any priest or priestess should be. Uveren had aspirations of going to the chantry since she was very little and was in fact trained for a position since birth. She was also trained since birth in all magics and daggerfighting and sword fighting. Uveren, after making it to the chantry(which is an extremely difficult challenge in itself, and getting there you need some sort of conformation from the arch-curate who had an eye for the best people) was watched but not with ill intent. The other priests and priestesses and prelates only watched with wonder and excitement. Not many people travel here, let alone by themselves. The Arch-curate had accepted her and said she would be a wonderful priestess and he was happy they would have her with them. She was a priestess there for a while, almost 3 hundred years, when she was accepted people were amazed she was only 23, barely recognized as a child in snow elven years. Everyone treated her with respect despite only being 23 when joining and only 356 when getting a higher position. By age 548 she was high priestess of Atosh and only 4 new snow elves arrived and took up places in the chantry. One who Uveren made friends with was Levenes, they didnt know much about each other just that Uveren was high priestess and Levenes was the bodyguard of the arch-curate. Every 50 years there was a festival where the vale was opened and protected from anything that would make the path dangerous for people to pass through it, the vale was lit up with magic lights that were set up by the priests and priestesses while the high priestess, paladins, arch-curate, and the prince set up the throne room and grand hall. It was all beautiful, shiny white and yellow and blue tinted glows all around, the pale yellow sun rising in the distance over the snowy mountains and falls in the distance, the priests and priestesses singing the tunes of the sun, the water fountain shrine to Atosh in the center of it all surrounded by light and travelers alike. When the sun fully rose up past the mountains, it would shine directly at the small statue of Atosh that rested on the fountain and would hit the crystals in just the right way that it would fill the room with tiny strings of sunlight everywhere. These spaces being the same every time the festival would take place there were more crystals in the symbol of Atosh that would shine on the shrine to their lord, blessing it with the light of Atosh himself. The priests and priestesses would then sing the song of the new dawn and everyone would pray to Atosh, following the words of their prince, arch-curate, and high priestess. After they all prayed the travelers and priests would be able to talk and trade with any vendors that decided to come and sell their goods as is with every 50 years. The festival of the New Dawn would then be complete and all travelers would wander back the path and go to their settlements. Unfortunately after their prince had gone off to fight in the war with the Nordans, about 500 years after Uveren became high priestess. The chantry wasnt able to do much because they needed their prince for conformation and any prayers that were needed, they always started off with the highest ranked. There was a group of refugees from other parts of Skyrh and them being refugees from the town of Ehothyr near the Nordan settlement of Windrown, the primary settlement for the 500 companions of Nordan, the arch-curate and the other high ranking members were talking with them and comforting them. One refugee seemed very sick and veered away from any sunlight and said they felt like they were constantly burning. The arch-curate spent the most time around them mainly because no one could diagnose which disease or ailment they had. Unfortunately, this particular refugee had made a wrong step in the middle of the night while them and arch-curate Vyrvhur were walking on the grand balcony and ended up slipping and falling into the frozen lake below, to their death. Arch-curate Vyrhvhur unfortunately, started feeling sick and having a burning feeling just like that person said they had felt. The Paladin, Glenvhur, Vyrvhurs brother, had asked him if he had anymore symptoms of anything and Vyrvhur had said that he didnt know, he just couldnt place anything as one thing. The arch-curate became more reserved and silent, he never really came out of his room, of which was blocked by both Paladin Glenvhur and the bodyguard Levenes. There was a night, a special courier came to the grand-chantry and informed Glenvhur that he needed to speak to Uveren at once seeing as though Vyrvhur wouldnt see anyone. The courier told Uveren that the Snow Prince had died on the battlefield from a fatal peirce to the heart. Uveren, very shocked to hear this as he was singlehandedly the best fighter the Snow Elves had, immediately went to Vyrvhurs quarters and requested to speak to him. Vyrvhur told her they could meet if it was truly that important.
When she told him he was clearly at a loss for words. His room was cold, cold for snow elf standards. Vyrvhur hugged Uveren and was clearly very upset, and terribly already in intense greif but something was off. He was very, very cold, and his eyes seemed red and bloodshot. The ailment affecting the one refugee wasnt a normal ailment, it was the first sign of vampirism. Something Snow Elves were highly against and didnt like one bit. Vyrvhur had caught the disease from the refugee and he was now a vampire.
Uveren, being the High Priestess, reacted as youd expect. She pulled away very harshly and backed away from him, he looked at her with dissapointment visibly showing in his eyes and posture and chased her out of the room and through the grand hall, soon being chased by both Levenes the bodyguard and the Paladin. Uveren turned around and managed to make an ice wall between her and the arch-curate before running into Blackrall Passage. Levenes and Glenvhur soon followed, it seemed Vyrvhur wanted them out instead of wanting to cause harm to them. Uveren made it to an overlook and feinted, most likely by exhaustion but she didnt wake up for a few thousand years. Only waking up just before

the time passed reached 4000 years.
