Alice von Stroheim, a German college freshman living with a host family in Japan. Jotaro Kujo, the tallest seventeen-year-old she had ever seen. And the scariest. With intimidating teal eyes and the possible ability to repurpose someone's spine with just one hand, anyone with common sense would stay out of his way. But with Jotaro's school on the same route to the university Alice is attending, that was almost impossible. Not to mention, there was also a group of fangirls constantly trying to get Jotaro—or rather, JoJo's—attention. And one time when Alice was on the way to class, those same girls thought she was a little too close to their precious JoJo. The amount of threats and insults thrown at her was almost enough to destroy her brain cells; sure, they can grow back, but the kinds of girls Jotaro has to deal with can destroy neurogenesis completely.
Today was no different. Even though she didn't have class, Alice kept a far-enough distance from Jotaro and his flock of very-irritating groupies. Despite how scared she was of him, she couldn't help feeling sorry for the guy; she'd be annoyed if she had to deal with people like that on a daily basis. Earphones on and Walkman playing, she tried her best to pay attention to her audiobook. But two things were on her mind: Why were those girls so obsessed with Jotaro, and how was he the exact opposite of his mother? Holly was the absolute sweetest thing, and Jotaro was... well, Jotaro.
"Why the hell are you following me?"
Alice wondered that, as well. Don't those girls have anything better to do?
"Hey, blondie! JoJo's talking to you!"
Alice paused her audiobook, taking her earphones off. Her ocean-green eyes met the angered faces of the schoolgirls.
"What's so special about you, huh?!" One girl whined. "How come you're so friendly around JoJo?!"
Alice deadpanned. Jotaro's grandfather was a lot smarter than these girls.
"You'd better stay away from him, you hear me?!" Another girl piped up.
"Why do you care?" The blond German raised a brow. "I'm just walking."
She put her earphones back on and resumed her audiobook, strolling past the idiotic schoolgirls. Alice paid no mind to the asinine insults, making sure she stayed far enough away from Jotaro; his menacing aura alone scared the hell out of her. She kept her gaze on the stone path as she speed-walked past the six-foot-tall delinquent. A chill went down her spine; she could practically feel Jotaro's teal eyes leering at her.
The stone steps couldn't have shown up at a better time. Alice exhaled before descending, her ocean-green eyes landing on the university just three blocks away. She sighed in relief; just turn right at the bottom, and she'll be out of Jotaro's hair for the rest of the day. She'll just hang around the university, maybe take a tour of the campus. Just something to keep her entertained...
Sudden squeals made Alice stop midway down the steps. She paused her audiobook again, an approaching presence getting closer and closer. She turned around, and immediately sprang to action as Jotaro tumbled towards the bottom. However, just when it appeared he was about to hit solid concrete, something unusual made Alice's eyes widen.
An arm. A corporeal, muscular, violet arm appeared from Jotaro's body and grabbed onto a bare tree branch. He swung over the lamppost and landed beside the path, right in front of the same tree. The arm faded back into Jotaro's body as Alice rushed over to him.
"Jotaro, what happened?!" she crouched next to him.
Alice immediately noticed the slash on Jotaro's left leg, stained with crimson. The fangirls approached the bottom of the steps, all of them scared out of their minds, before they scurried towards Jotaro. One girl shoved Alice away before rejoining the others. The German blonde lowered her earphones to her neck, staring at the delinquent as she stood up.
