Link opened his eyes to the fresh morning sunlight that spilled into his room. Link felt a hand on his bare chest. He glanced up at Rhett, who lovingly stared down at him. "Good morning Link." This kind of touch wasn't unnatural for them, they had been friends for most of their whole lives, and each other's body's were like halves of one whole. But the warm, caring touching of his best friend never failed to make his lips tingle with a since of want. A want to return the favor of affection with a kiss to place upon Rhett's mouth. Link wouldn't mind a tender kiss from Rhett either, but he wasn't going to tell him that. "Why don't we go bicycle riding today?" Rhett asked Link. "Sure." Said Link. Link normally liked to plan these sorts of things ahead of time, as appose to making plans spontaneously, but Link didn't want to wreck Rhett's seemingly happy mood today. Link liked it when Rhett was happy.

It took about two hours of driving to get to their favorite bike trail. It would have been three hours if the traffic had been worse, but luckily today it wasn't quite as bad as usual. Rhett parked and the two got out of the van, making their ways to the back to retrieve their bikes. As they both reached inside the back, their hands brushed against each other's. Link felt tingles rush up his fingertips, up his arms and across his chest and right into his heart. He was about to burst with love for his friend. Blushing, giggles danced their way out of his mouth. Rhett didn't notice the incident at all, and he paid no mind to Link's infatuated giggling. They both put on their helmets and drug their bikes to the trail. They got on their bikes and began to race down the trail. Rhett liked to go fast on his bike, but Link was much more cautious and careful. Rhett effortlessly rushed right passed Link, but Link was struggling to settle himself on the trail. Suddenly, Link lost his balance with the bike, and both Link and the bike fell over. Luckily, Rhett heard Link's exclamations and jumped off his bike to help Link. At first Rhett was cackling with laughter, but then he noticed Link was crying. "Awe Linkster, what happened?" Rhett asked. "I don't know... I lost my balance." Link managed, in between sobs. Rhett nelt down beside Link and cuddled him in his arms. "It's okay buddy. Don't cry. Where are you hurting?" Rhett implored, gently. Link pulled down the him of his shorts carefully, revealing a painful looking purple bruise on his hip. "Awe, Link." Rhett said. Rhett instinctively kissed the bruise gently, softly. Link sighed. "It's real sore, man." Said Link. Link didn't know how much he needed those soft Rhett kisses. They seemed to really make the pain go away. "Where else are you hurt?" Rhett asked. Link reached up and felt his cheek. There was also a bruise on his left cheek, that was much fainter than the one that had appeared on his hip, but was nonetheless still sore. Link's heart beat fast as he felt Rhett get close to his face and kiss his wounded cheek. Link held Rhett's face with both his hands and kissed Rhett's lips. At first it was a tender peck, but Link was filled with need. He needed to kiss Rhett more lovingly. And so he began kissing Rhett passionately, reaching up to him and trying to get his arms around Rhett's neck. Rhett was a little startled at first, but he swooped down and pulled Link up towards him, holding him, lifting him up and Rhett began passionately kissing back. Link felt need. And he felt his needs being met, but he couldn't contain his excitement, his joy. Link brought his hands up into Rhett's hair, rubbing his hands through it. Link felt the need to be forward about this. "I really like you Rhett..." said Link, pulling off the kiss. "I mean... I love you.." Link said, and then allowed Rhett to pull him back into his embrace, tighter now, so tight Link thought he might would be crushed in the strength of the grip. But Link loved it, he loved to be in the tight grip. Rhett's body drove Link practically insane, his scent, his warmth, his large, protective frame closing around him, protecting him from anyone that could hurt him. Protecting him from pain, protecting him from sadness. Link's heart was beating so fast. "You okay Link?" Rhett asked him. Rhett could tell by looking Link was flushed like a beat, red hot with sweaty hairs stuck to his head. "Need some more. Want some more." Link groaned. He was filled with desperation. "More what?" Rhett said coyly, with a smile creeping on his lips. "Kissin' man, I need your lips." Link said, with a whispery, gravelly voice. Rhett smiled and put both hands on Link's shoulders. "My knees still kinda hurt." Link said, whimpering. "Everything hurts." He said. New tears formed in his eyes. "Baby." Rhett couldn't help but say. "What if I kissed everywhere it hurts?" Rhett implored. Link only nodded. Rhett pulled Link's arm up and stooped a little to kiss his bruised elbow. He lingered on the elbow for a few moments before starting to lovingly lick the skin. Link was comforted at this. He felt like Rhett was making his booboos all better. Rhett then knelt on the ground and pressed his lips against each one of Link's bruised knees. "See, no more booboos." Rhett said. He stroked each of Link's knees loving, softly with his finger tips. "Rhett you're so sweet. And I love you." Link said. "Well now baby, I love you too." Rhett cooed back. Rhett kissed Link's lips again
