The Troll Kingdoms

Chapter Six: Show Time

It was the end of the day and the stage lit up. Everyone showed up. Pop,funk, classical,etc. The snack pack was instructed to sit back stage with the other representatives of each of the tribes. They were talking amongst themselves, except for Copper. He is still worried about his friends and family. Biggie turned to him and hugs him to comfort him.

"Don't worry Copper, they will come around to understand you,"

Copper smiles.
"I love you all so much," He squeals.

Their hug time watches went off and they all did a group hug.

Biggie then catches sight of Hickory. He has a closer and puts it in his mouth which immediately looks like some sort of romantic gesture. He goes up to Delta Dawn and sits by her.

"Howdy friendly lady," He said.

Delta turns to look at him.
"Um...howdy. Have we met? I think I've seen only this one time"

Hickory sweats.
"I believe so missy. But who's to say we can't get to know each other?"

Delta raises her eye brow in confusion.
"Look you seem good as gold shinning but I really should be preparing for our tribe's turn."

"Ours?!"

Delta smiles awkwardly.
"Yes our tribe's turn since we are both country trolls."

Biggie chuckles as this whole scene plays out.
"He seems like a hopeless romantic right Mr. Dinkles?"

"Mew,"

Hickory swoons and leans to the the leg of the chair.
"Yep.we are country trolls together. You wanna do more stuff togeth-"

Delta cuts him off.
"Are you okay?"

Biggie comes running to them.
"He just had to much punch and he had a bit of a sugar rush and now he lost his energy. That's all ma'am."

"Mew,"

"Okay," she looks back at Hickory. "It's been nice talking to you,"

"Nice being alive with you," Hickory continues to swoon.

Biggie pulls him over.
"Hickory it's me Biggie. Remember me?"

"Oh thank goodness old friend your here,"  he breaks down. "Did you see that? I was more nervous than a sweating sinner in court."

"Come on you can tell her how you feel," Biggie said.

Hickory sighs.
"Didn't Poppy tell ya'll? I'm a yodeler."

"What!"

"What would the world say if they see a yodeler with a country gal?"

"But you love right?"Biggie asks firmly.

"Heck yes he does," Hickory's friend from his behind exclaimed.

Hickory gets mad.
"Shhh! Keep it down will ya?"

He looks back at Biggie.
"More than anything. She's more beautiful than an evening sunset. But after what happened before with the strings, what view does she have on the country trolls, let alone myself."

Biggie let's go of a breath of sympathy. He wishes he could help but he is reminded of the consequences that Hickory mentions.

Poppy enters back stage.
"Pop trolls! We are on in 30 seconds!"

"Got my DJ bug on let's do this queen Poppy!" DJ said excitedly.

Biggie hugs Hickory. Than makes his way out.
"I'll be back. Don't worry I believe in you!"
