( ✔️ ) 𝗗𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗔, nick austin!

kyla laid in amelie's arms as the
blonde girl awoke. she still wasn't
used to waking up to amelie instead
of nick. but she knew she had to
stop thinking about him and do what's
best for her.

"are you just gonna stare at me the
whole morning?" amelie asked,
rubbing her eyes, exhausted. "sorry
i was just thinking about something"
kyla said, looking at the weary expression
on the girl's face. "whatever you say ky"
amelie got up with a stretch.

"can we go somewhere to eat?" she said
hopefully, looking at her girlfriend. they
had only been dating for 3 weeks but they
were still so crazy about each other. "of 
course," the blonde said, walking over to 
grab clothes, "i've been wanting donuts 
since yesterday" she smiled before walking
into the bathroom.

kyla decided it would be a good idea to
get dressed too, especially since she was
going out. she rummaged through her drawers
and closet before finding an outfit she liked.

the two girls walked down to dunkin,
they wouldn't be surprised if they happened
to run into charli since she was always there.
when they got inside kyla immediatly spotted
charli sitting. the girl was talking to nick, sipping
her coffee.

the sight of him made her heart ache. she
knew what was best, so she decided to
walk over—amelie trailing close behind.

"hey guys" kyla said intruding the conversation
smiling at charli. "hey," she responded. amelie
grabbed kyla's hand tightly as she became aware
that nick was looking at her girlfriend. "hi nick"
kyla's smile faded, feeling her eyes starting to
slightly water. she pushed her emotion's to
the back of her mind, trying her best to be
happy.

"hi," nick frowned. he could tell that his ex
was still upset about what happened over
a month ago but didn't say anything. he 
started to look at his phone. when kyla came
up to the two, she didn't realize they were
talking about her.

kyla and charli were too consumed with
their conversation, they didn't realize that
amelie had gone to order coffee with nick.
 the two were silent waiting for the order
to be done before amelie spoke. "look,"
she started. "i know you dated kyla, but
you made a mistake. she'll forgive. i know
it. but seeing you this soon might've given
it all a setback."

"i know, and i shouldn't have done what
i did, especially with the terms dixe and
kyla were on before. but it's been a month
and she still isn't ready?" he stared at the
ground. "did i really fuck up that bad amelie? 
honestly?"

"you made a huge mistake, but we all make
them. but you lost someone so important.
someone you probably needed. so yes, you
really did fuck up bad," the she said smiling,
grabbing the two drinks before walking over
to kyla.

nick watched as amelie gave her girlfriend a
peck on the lips before intertwining their 
fingers. and as the couple exited, amelie
gave him a petty smile.

she was trying to make him jealous.
