Yeeaah... I'm not a good writer. I forgot to bring my notebook home today, so I won't be updating on Serendipity today.Told you guys that I'll upload a one-shot tonight. I split it into two, so you'll be getting part 2 sometime this week.
Beverly’s PoV*
Magbabayad sila kung sino man nagpaset-up noon. Eh sino bang nakakakilala kay Nialll kundi sila Liam?
“Edgar!” Tawag ko. Lumapit sa ‘min sa Edgar, tsaka ko tinanong, “Sino nagpaset-up sa aminng dalawa?”
“Ayun, yung apat nay un. Sinabi niya kayo daw dalawa iset-up ko.” Sagot naman ni Edgar. Tinuro niya si Harry.
“Sige, salamat.” Sabi ko. “Ay, Edgar, set-up mo yun (tinuro ko si Harry) saka si Lyka. Payback lang. Eto bayad ko.” Binigay ko kay Edgar yung bayad. “Ikaw na humuli kay Lyka. Ako na bahala sa kanya. Dito lang kami malapit sa booth.”
“Sige.”
Oras na para sa phase two ng plano… >:D
*Niall’s PoV*
I don’t understand most of what they’re saying, so I just go along with them. I’m still chained up with Beverly.
“Wanna have some halo-halo? My treat.” She says as we reach the lads. As if reading our minds, she clarifies, “It’s a common dessert here in our country. Mainly made up of ice, some type of milk, ube, and several more others that I can’t identify much. Trust me, you’ll like it. It’s the best way to beat the heat, c’mon.” We follow her to a small booth nearby.
“Uh, no offence though, how long do we have to wait again?” I ask Beverly.
“Just a few more minutes. Until Edgar returns. Wish it’s sooner than that though, this chains are a bit constricting.” She orders some of the dessert that she said earlier.
*Harry’s PoV*
It’s sweet, and it really beats the heat. I take another spoonful as a lad comes up to us, along with another girl about his age. “Tawag mo ako, Bev?” the girl says.
“Mm-mm.” Beverly replies, she then turns to the lad. “Edgar, yung susi?”
“Eto.” The boy replies. He gives Beverly a key which she uses to unlock the chain’s padlock.
“That’s a relief,” She says together with Niall. Beverly puts the chain around the girl’s wrist, whose eyes widen at the gesture. The girl tries to run away, but Bev’s grip is firm. Beverly glances our way and puts the other end of the chain around my wrist and locks it.
“What’s this for?” I query.
“Just a little thing called ‘payback’.” Beverly smirks.
*Lyka’s PoV*
“Bev, ‘di ‘to nakakatawa.” Sabi ko. Bakit ba ako ipapa-set-up sa di ko kilala? Tiningnan ko yung katbi ko. Medyo matangkad, maputi, saka makulot ang buhok. Parang nakita ko na syia dati eh…
“Harry,” sabi ni Beverly. “Take off your shades.”
Tinanggal ng katabi ko yung shades niya.
“Harry Styles?” tanong ko. Seryoso? Siya ‘to?
“That’s me.”
“But how…”
“Lyka, eto dalawang ticket sa rides. Sakay muna kayo. Either sa ferris wheel o kaya sa octopus, kayo bahala.” Binigyan ako ni Beverly ng mga ticket, saka lumayo sa aming dalawa. Yung iba ring kasama niya, wala rin.
“So, guess we’re stuck together, huh?” sabi ni Harry. “Where would you want to ride? It would be great if you pick.”
“How about the Octopus? I didn’t get a chance to ride there yesterday. Have you?”
“Me neither, let’s go then!”
