Hello Everyone,

My Name Is Aniya Bennette Crosby & I Am Nineteen Years Old.

This Is A Story Of My Life The Real Version Of It.

So I was in foster care when I was 13 years old. I was took from my mom on mother's day of may 13th of 2013. it was hard. every year when mine or my siblings birthday would come up all I could do was cry because I could not see them or even call them to wish them a happy birthday or send them any gifts for any holidays. then august 15th of 2015 my mother had her rights terminated by the courts. we had one last final visit with all of us even my younger siblings. to say our goodbyes to my mother & stepfather. it was a heart breaking moment for all of us. so I moved back up to grand rapids Michigan after my eight grade year of middle school. I moved into a brand new foster home and halfway through out my freshman year of high school I was going to get adopted. by two lovely people in Holland Michigan and after a while I decided not to get adopted because I just did not fit that family at all, they were nice people and all but I was just not ready to get adopted yet I guess you can say. I moved back to Grand Rapids . I started my sophomore year at Forest Hills Central High school. lets just say this from my sophomore year to my senior year was good/bad because of the rich kids trying to pick on someone like me. it made it very hard but I pushed through everything and overcame everything bad anyone was ever saying about me. my foster mother that I lived with told me I would never be anything or anyone in life and told me I would never graduate and that's the next story of my book is me graduating from high school and keep going forward in my life
