    Fun Facts:
    - How did these 8 friends first meet? It all started when Annis was either 9 or 10. She was a part of a fundraiser at her school, which was raising money for new playground equipment. They run laps. While Annis was there, that's where she saw Fabiola and Tate participating along with her. The three of them talked during the whole time. They ran together. They were in different grades, but it was still fun for them.
    - A few weeks later, Annis saw Ashton at the sandbox the playground had. Ashton wanted someone to build a sandcastle with, so Annis helped her.
    - Now they were a group of 4. After school one day, they all decided to go get ice cream together. On the way to the shop, they saw Dreda riding her bike down the street. She cycled into the wrong lane, and a car was going to hit her, but Tate saved her. Dreda was then added to their little squad.
    - Then middle school came around. They all got to go to Washington D.C. as a vacation. Some of the people that were chaperoning happened to be the parents of Briar, Russell, and Brighid. Annis' parents came with her too, and they were talking about their kids and everything. Annis got interested in meeting the kids of those adults. And that's how they all became friends.
    - Fabiola is one of the popular girls. She's popular for being in the book club at school.
    - She loves her school the most. She doesn't like her boring house, however.
