Readers POV

I look out my window and started to sing.
No lie but I loved singing. I just never sung around people I wasn't close with.

"Don't think of anything"
"Don't say anything, not even a word"
"No, oh, just give me a smile, yeah"

As I finish changing into clean clothes and grab my item to prepare for the match I was placed in.
My teammates are Naib, Me, Margaretha, and Victor.
Not a bad team.
I left my room and made my way to the lobby.
I was the last to come in like usual.
I took my seat and now we waited for the hunter.
My (prefer item) was sitting in front of me when I decided to fidget with it a little.
Naib, Victor, and margaretha seem to have a good time talking.
I am not much of a big talker.
The hunter walked in and soon we were transported to moonlight river park.
And again I sung to myself as I decode.

"I still can't believe it"
"All of this seem like a dream"
"Don't try to disappear"

Not even moments later Naib shouted "Focus in decoding"
He's probably being chased.

"Is it true, is it true"
"You, you"
"You're so beautiful, that I'm scared"
"Untrue, untrue"
"You, you, you~"

That's when a cipher popped and just as mine popped the train rush right passed me making the wind blow my hair.
I ran off too find another cipher but this one was half way done.
Someone probably got chased off.
I'll finish it for them.

"Will you stay by my side"
"Will you promise me"
"If I let go of your hand,you'll fly away and break"
"I'm scared scared scared of that"

As I sung I didn't even realize Naib standing next to me hugging and puffing.
I turn and looked at him.
'Tell me he didn't hear me sang'
"You have a nice voice for singing." Naib said more softly than I ever heard him speak to me.
'Welp there's goes my luck.'
I slowly begin to heal Naib.
Just then another cipher popped.
After finishing healing Naib we went straight to trying to cipher rush the last bit of the machine.
Our cipher was soon popped and I was ready to take of but instead I felt a warm hand grasp my waist.
Naib pulled me in and reel me closer to him.
I gulped.
Naib pulled me to a quieter area.
He held me close and payed his head on my shoulder.
"Sing for me." He asked his voice sounding gentle and soft.

"Will you stop time?"
"If this moment passes."
"As though it hadn't happen."
"I'm scared scared scared, I'll lose you"
"Butterfly, like a butterfly"
"Just like a butterfly, bu-Butterfly"
"Butterfly, like a butterfly"
"Just like a butterfly, bu-Butterfly"

It felt like time is going lot faster, the last cipher popped.
The siren went off.

"You're just like a butterfly."
"From afar, I steal glances; if we touch hand will I lose you?"

Just then margaretha shout, "the exit is open!".
Naib stood up and I did too.
He grab my hand and we start to walk to the closest exit, I could see Victor and margaretha waiting for us.
As we walked I still sung.

"You shine in the pitch of darkness that is the butterfly effect."
"Your light touches, I forget the reality at once."
