"I AM HERE! I AM HE—" The alarm on Izuku's phone rang. He shut it off quickly. The entrance exams start 10:00AM and Izuku woke up at 7:00AM. The day was February 26th. He wanted to go. He wanted his fate to be decided. He got out of bed and took a shower. He changed into pretty presentable clothes, and headed to the kitchen. There, Inko was making breakfast.

"Ah! Good morning Izuku! I made breakfast!" Inko exclaimed. Izuku nodded as he took a seat and Inko placed the plate in front of him. On it was a Belgium Waffle with syrup and butter. On the side was eggs and bacon.

"Mom, you shouldn't have." Izuku said feeling blessed for the breakfast.

"No worries, I just want you to do your greatest out there!" She smiled. Izuku smiled with a nod, and ate his food. By the time he finished, it was 8:00AM.
"Alright, I have to go." Izuku said.

"Okay then, see you after—" Izuku began but was cut off by a hug from Izuku. It was what Izuku thought was his last hug. He then left the apartment. He walked down the steps and arrived to the sidewalk. He walked along the sidewalk going over what he memorized.

"Okay, I need to stay clear of things I can't handle. If I do this, I'm good." Izuku told himself. He looked up to suddenly realize what was happening across the street. There was a fire and a crowd. Some heroes were there trying to defuse the situation. Izuku looked at his watch. Only 8:30, he had time. He rushed over to see the issue. There, he saw a slime monster with a child. Izuku looked around to find an easy path to the monster and save the teen, like he even would. He found the perfect trail to get to the teen. Fire was minimized with enough space to dodge incoming attacks. Why didn't any of the heroes go? It was obvious. Izuku was looking through the scene until he realized who the teen was. It was Bakugo. Bakugo was being killed on the spot. Izuku's breath sharpened. His childhood "friend" was being killed. He took two steps forward then stopped.

Why should I try to save him? He's never done anything for me. Deku though. Bakugo couldn't escape.

He's probably suffocating. Good, he deserves every last bit of it. Izuku thought. He then turned and left. He didn't notice this, but a skeleton looking man was at the scene clutching his stomach. He had a triangle chin and yellow hair that looked like bunny ears going downwards. Izuku left and began moving to UA again. Halfway there, he felt sick. He ran to a nearby garbage can and threw up.

Why do I feel like this? Why did I let him die? Deku thought to himself. Images of Bakugo dying flashed through his brain.

I- I should've saved him. I should've at least tried. And I want to be a hero? I'm actually sick! He thought to himself. He felt sick. Not from a disease, but emotionally sick. His stomach twisted as he threw up again. He walked into the grass and lay down. He took deep breaths. After a bit, he had control of himself again. He stopped the sickening, but was still getting images of Bakugo dying. Soon he was at the entrance of UA. With his mind out of control he tripped and began falling. Before hitting the ground, he began to freeze in the air. He looked around for a moment. He then realized what this was. He was then stood up. It was Ochako Uraraka.

"Hey Izu!" Uraraka greeted. Izuku was kinda confused.

"Izu? What, I have a pet name?" He asked as the two began walking to the entrance.

"Oh, yeah, I have one for everyone." She said with a nervous smile and scratch on the back of the head. Izuku became curious.

"Do you have one for Todoroki?" He asked. Uraraka began blushing.

"I... uh... Oh! I didn't come up with one yet." She said with a fake smile and blush. Izuku smiled. He loved seeing her like this. Soon, they entered the room they were going to be in. They found their seats and waited for the thing to start. After a bit, a man with yellow hair walked on stage.
