Before I get started I wanted to give a little praise to my old timey heroine Emily Dickinson.
What a gal.
The reason I brought her up is that her poem 'The moon is but a chin of gold' was the first poem I ever liked, I thought it had such beautiful imagery and it introduced me to the wonderful tool called personification.
It was only later I heard about more about how she is, the poet, and truly appreciate the woman.
Also, also shout out to my poem about deserts, it was the first poem I ever wrote, I thought it was terrible(I mean, "there is the beach looked like a peach", awful, right?) but, hey, I wouldn't have gotten here otherwise ;)
Also x3 it is currently Poetry Month(April), so I had to put this out before 30th, here it is...
