Our main character had it in both eyes and now where's artificial eyes. But they look like real eyes.

This story is based in the UK. But the author doesn't use any location names. The names are made up.
Ottershead, where Elisabeth Harrison was brought up in is one of these. So is Mill Brook where the school is.
