Elisabeth's PoV:
Clorrissa stared at me and Glacier. "It's dinner, anyway," she said.
"Not hungry," mumbled Glacier.
I knew very well it was because Emily and Clorrissa had something planned between them. Scarlet whimpered.
"Now, or I will send your mother in," Clorrissa made to grab Glacier.
"Who do you fucking care?" Glacier said calmly. "You and mum both deserve life long punishment behind bars."
"What are you doing, Scarlet?" Clorrissa glared at our friend. "Why are you even here when you should be in your room?"
"Jesus Fucking Christ," snapped Scarlet. "You don't have the authority to tell me, Elsa or Glacier what to do, you horrible bitch."
"Scar," whispered Glacier. "Not helping."
Clorrissa walked towards Scarlet. Glacier sighed and snuggled into me. I winced as pain shot through me. But I couldn't let the pain get to me. Glacier and Scarlet are in danger. We are all in danger.
"How dare you talk to me like that, Scarlet Cookson," yelled Clorrissa.
There was the familiar sound of someone slapping someone hard. I and Glacier winced. Scarlet screamed in pain. That horrible woman. I wanted to leap up at her. But my stomach gave a horrible pulse of pain. I gritted my teeth and Glacier clung on to me.
"Get out this room, now." Clorrissa had Scarlet round the neck.
"Let go of her," I said as calmly as I could. "Just let go of her."
Glacier was shaking. She was getting even more frightened.
"You ... will ... be ... in ... so ... much ... trouble." Scarlet managed to say.
I let go of Glacier and managed to stand up. Glacier whimpered.
"Don't worry," I whispered in her ear, ignoring my pain. "Just going to the bathroom."
Glacier nodded. But she knew what I was actually doing. I was going to ring David. I reached out for my phone when Clorrissa saw what I was doing. Yikes.
"Give me your phone, Elisabeth," she let go of Scarlet.
"No, I won't," I snapped.
Pain shot through my body as my stomach and headshot pain. Ignore it, Ignore it.
"What are you gonna do about it?" I snapped, letting my pain finally take over me. "Kill both of us?"
"There is only one that will leave today," Clorrissa smiled. "Emily!"
Glacier screamed. I managed to sprint at Clorrissa, grabbing her hard and punched her hard in the chest. Then I noticed that Glacier had her phone. She was texting David for me. Good girl! Clorrissa was about to slap me when I grabbed her hands in ice shackles. I was about to run back to Glacier when the door opened. I knew, at that moment of time that Glacier was in danger. A lot more danger than me and Scarlet. I saw the gun in Emily's hand. My breath was hitching up.
"Well, well, well," sneered Emily. "What a scene to walk into. The Britamerican bitch fighting Clorrissa and the miserable bitch hiding."
"You leave Glacier alone," sobbed Scarlet who was rubbing at her neck. "You murderer, Emily Baker."
Glacier was about to get up when I found some strength. I ran to her bed and flattened her as I lay across her. She didn't even squeal. She tried to wriggle out. But I pinned her down. "No, Glacier. Do not move."
"Mother will pay," growled my girlfriend, just loud enough for me to hear. "Get off me, honey. It hurts."
"I don't care right now," I said. "Your life is more important."
"Elsa, Glacier," screamed scarlet.
"This is just perfect," sneered Emily coming to the bed. Both of you are together. How sweet. But I don't want to hurt you."
"Oh yeah?" I snapped. "You murderer. You will pay for what you did to my dad. You will pay what you have done to Scarlet's mother. You will meet your end."
Emily laughed. "Do you want to join your beloved father, Elisabeth Lillian Harrison?"
I managed to gather more strength and sat up. Glacier looked at me. "Please, Elsa. Don't do anything rash."
Scarlet came over and slapped Emily. This was my chance. I helped Glacier to her feet and made our way to the door. Glacier opened the door for us and we sprinted as fast as we could to the front door. I didn't know what we were doing. But whatever happened, I didn't want it happening in our room.
We found a bush. Glacier looked startled. "Why are we at the bush?"
"Get in there, Glace!" Tears were pouring down my cheeks. "You don't deserve to die."
"Stay safe, baby." Glacier's voice was cracking. "I'm already destroyed enough."
She bent down and crawled into the deep bush. I sighed in relief. At least Glacier was safe. Winter stared at me.
"Hi, Winter," I said.
"What's going on?" Asked Winter. "How come you, Scar and Glace weren't at dinner?"
"Long story," I said. "Please, make sure Glacier's safe for me."
Tears flowed freely down my cheeks. "I don't want to do it. But if it's to save everyone," I fell to my knees, the pain had got to my legs. "So be it."
Panting and the running of feet got to our ears. Then Scarlet came up to us. "Glacier's safe, right?"
I nodded, curling up in a ball. "She's safe for now."
Scarlet sighed with relief. "Emily and Clorrissa are coming this way. But Arianna and David have called the police and ambulance just in case."
I felt everything going heavy. "Scarlet, help me get up."
Scarlet held out her hand and gently lifted me up. Then we stood there. Although my legs felt like they were going to give way again. I clung on to Winter and Scarlet's hands. Then we heard them.
"Hide," I hissed. "Both of you. Join Glacier. I'll be alright."
Winter obeyed. But Scarlet was not as accepting. "Elsa," she said almost in tears. "You don't deserve it, either."
"There she is," sneered a voice.
"Scarlet," I hissed. "Go. Just go and keep her safe. I want her alive. Even if I die."
Scarlet was going to open her mouth to disagree when we heard the trigger. She let go of my hand and backed away. I turned to Emily who laughed. "Well, you are brave, Britamerican Bitch. Say bye-bye to your life."
I gulped, staring down the bowel of the gun. Then I saw Arianna and David. But before I called out for help, I felt the bullet hit me. I screamed and staggered backwards. "You will pay, Emily Baker."
Then my eyes closed, and I remembered nothing more.
