Rodrick x Reader: Rodrick becomes a father

Chapter 1: Conception

It was a chilly October night and you were at Rodrick's house planning on spending the night. Before you both had gone on a romantic date to celebrate your 3 years together. You lay on his bed and look at him with admiration, "I'm so lucky to have you in my life babe" you say with a flirty look on your face. "I love you too baby" he says as he inches closer to you. "You know how we've been talking about taking our relationship to the next level?" You say in a shy voice. Rodrick gives you side eye and smirks, "mmm yeah I think I remember a conversation or two about that". Your stomach is in knots as you try to think of words to insinuate you want to make love. "Rodrick, I love you so much and I've made the decision that I want to make love with you". Rodrick slowly walks to the bed and gives you a passionate kiss "I love the way you taste" says Rodrick in a breathy tone. You lay down and totally surrender to him as he does what he pleases. You begin to passionately make out and he goes down to your neck. You let out a small moan, "you like that baby?" Says Rodrick in a quite seductive manor. He turns off the lights and starts to take off your clothes. He can tell you're embarrassed of him seeing your naked body. "It's okay babe, every inch of you is perfect just the way you are" says Rodrick as he slowly strokes your breasts. "I'm ready" you say to him with a bit of hesitance in your voice. He takes off your underwear and asks if you're really sure. "Yes" you say and then he begins. It's starts off slow knowing that since it's both of your first times it's better to not rush into things. It hurts really bad but you didn't want him to know. He starts going faster and faster, you moan his name and he kisses you on the mouth. He grabs your breast and strokes it as he concentrates on pleasing you. "Oh Rodrick it feels so good, I don't think I can take anymore". He moans and then stops, "um y/n... the condom broke". "WHAT???" You say in a frightened tone, "did you at least pull out?". "I didn't know till after we were finished!" Exclaims Rodrick. You get up immediately and go to to the bathroom. "Oh god what am I going to do" you think to yourself. "It's going to be okay baby, we'll figure this out" Rodrick says behind the door. You come out crying and he hugs you to try to comfort you. "Are you sure" you said through tears to Rodrick. "Yes baby, and if worst comes to worst you know I'd be the coolest dad" he says with a smile. You two go to sleep and the next morning you wake up to the sound of Greg coming in. "Oh hey y/n uh don't mind me I'm just going to take one of Rodrick's motorcycle magazines. We're learning about... uh ... helmets in health and I really need to do my research!" Says Greg trying to trick you into thinking he's actually doing school work. "Okay" you say "I promise I won't tell Rodrick".

(About 7 weeks later)
You wake up around 6:30 to get ready for school. Today you feel a bit off. You go down stairs and see your dad is cooking scrambled eggs. You get one sniff of the scrambled eggs and you RUN to the bathroom. "Yuck" you thought, "eggs are so gross".

(A couple days later)
You're on the phone with your best friend Rue, "I don't get it Rue, this whole week I've been throwing up all morning and I'm sick throughout the day. I thought I had the flu but I didn't have a fever" Rue begins to ask you many invasive and annoying questions but one stuck out to you the most. "Have you had any unprotected sex by any chance?" She says in a helpful tone. Then it clicked, at this moment you knew you needed a pregnancy test. "Rue, I'm picking you up and we're going to the store, I'll explain everything when you get in the car" you say in a rushed tone. You pick up Rue and she seems to be real worried about you, "y/n is everything okay?" She asks. "Rue, I had sex with Rodrick last month and the condom broke, I think I know why I've been so sick lately. You've got to come with me to get a test". Rue agrees and comes along with you, "I want Rodrick to be the first one to know so I think I'll do it at his house". "Okay, please let me know as soon as you find out" says Rue in a comforting voice. "I will" you say, you drive to Rodricks house and I explain everything. "Okay...3..2..1" your heart stops as two little red lines pop up. You begin to hysterically cry while Rodrick tries to console you.  "Shh shh baby, we'll get through this together" Rodricks says in a very calm voice.  "But Rodrick our lives are over" you say trembling from tears. "No y/n our lives are just beginning" says Rodrick with tears in his eyes. It's obvious he's much happier than you are. You couldn't stop thinking about how disappointed both of your parents would be. You can already hear the nasty words your mom is going to call you.

(2 months later)
It's been almost two months and neither of you have told your parents. You're both scared of disappointment but you both think you're ready. "Rodrick, we really need to tell our parents, I'm almost 3 months along and I'm starting to show. They'll catch on soon". "I know but it's so hard to bring up and you know my parents are going to be mad" says Rodrick in a worried tone. You feel a sudden wave of courage and demand that you tell them now. "Are you sure y/n?" Says Rodrick on the verge of tears. "Yes babe, we can't hide this forever they're gonna find out eventually" you say as a knot begins in your stomach. You and Rodrick go to his parents room and sit them down. "Mom, Dad... Me and y/n need to tell you something" says Rodrick barely making eye contact with his mom. Susan puts her book down and Frank lowers the television. "Yes Rodrick?" Asks Susan who seems to know what's about to go down. "I'm... pregnant" you say without making eye contact. Susan and Frank both gasp, "Rodrick what the hell have you done" says frank who is practically fuming by the ears. "I'm so sorry mom and dad" Rodrick says in a regretful tone. "Sorry my ass" says Frank, Susan sits there in shock and tries to calm Frank down. Frank is pacing the bedroom floor in pure anger. "Look Frank, the kids made a mistake but we need to be there for them to support them" says Susan who seems oddly happy about this situation. "Rodrick, honey, I'm disappointed you couldn't wait but that doesn't mean I'm not happy about your baby" Susan looks at both of you and gives you a hug. "You're happy about this Susan?!" Frank says still foaming at the mouth in anger. "No Frank I'm not but there's nothing we can do now can we?" She says with irritation in her voice. "I'm so happy you're so supportive Susan, I was scared you were going to hate me for ruining Rodricks life" you say as tears start to form. "Sweetie, you didn't ruin Rodricks life. Never say that because you're bringing him the most beautiful thing a person can experience." Susan says this with a glow in her eyes. You tell Susan "Thank you so much". Now that you came clean to Rodricks parents you knew it was time you did the same with your mom. You and Rodrick walked over to your house, you both entered the door quietly. "Mom..." you say with hesitance, "I have something serious I need to tell you about". Your mother looks up already seeming to know what's going on. "Oh the little whore went out and got herself pregnant didn't she?" Says your mom. "She's not a whore Vanessa" says Rodrick in a very irritated tone. "Well if this is true y/n, I don't want you in this house anymore" your mom says this as she gets up. The next thing you know she slaps you across the face and tells you to gather your things. Rodrick leaves to get his van as you pack your stuff. Your mother comes in your room in a drunken rage going on about how much of a whore you are. Your mother screams "and I never want to see you or the baby again" as she stands in the doorway while you put your things in the back of Rodrick's van. You've packed up all your things and find yourself back at Rodrick's house. "What am I going to do now?" You ask Rodrick with tears in your eyes. "I'll be right back" he says as he runs off. Susan enters the room, "y/n sweetie, I heard about what happened and I'm so sorry, but we all love you and just know that you're welcome to stay with us here as long as you need". You cry even harder and get up, you hug Susan and begin to express your gratitude for her and the Heffley family. "Welcome home sweetheart" Says Susan as you're still hugging her. You begin to think about how life will be from now on and boy will it be a wild ride.
