One day while in the library researching for her project she drops a book of a balcony and it is caught by a strange man he looks of a certain age to others around them but she knew that he was older.
They speak that day because there's something about him she can't put her finger on by after that day avoids him until he comes across her again when he's with her childhood friend Dianna Bishop as it turns out that the people around her had ben lying about her past her whole life and that her parents were killed by witches there own kind just like Dianna and witches had blocked her magic and had her mind wiped by vampires if she ever saw something from her true world now she must protect the book from the people who are coming after it along with Dianna but what happens when she begins to feel drawn to the vampire.
