This short story is an incident that happens in the current lives of Jaemin x Y/N and not the flashback story of which Jaemin is narrating to their child.

Opening her eyes to witness the sun kissing her husbands face was indeed a blessing. To be honest, the happiness Y/N felt when she woke up every morning to only witness the love of her life, the person who gave meaning to her life sleeping beside her was just feeling she didn't know how to explain. Smiling to herself her hands moved on there own as she touched Jaemin's hair and then his face, after all, he was asleep.
"Thank you," whispered Y/N.
"Thank you, for loving me and giving me meaning,"
"Your welcome but shouldn't I be the one thanking you?" said Jaemin as he opened his eyes suddenly.
"H-ah," said Y/N flushed as she didn't expect Jaemin to be awake she instantly took her hands off his face but Jaemin pulled her hands back to his face and pulled her closer to him.
"What? Now you're trying to act like your all flushed and are still mad at me, cute," said Jaemin pulling Y/N closer as his hands went around her waist.
"I-I am still mad at you," said Y/n trying to move away but damn Jaemin was strong, it felt as though he wasn't trying.
"Oh come on. you sounded happy a while back," pouted Jaemin as he locked their lips.
" MUM!! DAD!! GOOD MORNING!!" exclaimed a little boy who ran into the shared room of the current emperor and empress wearing an oversized shirt.
"Ack-" Y/N pulled away and pushed Jaemin aside. But her push was strong or maybe what she thought about Jaemin being strong had it's otherwise. Because Jaemin ended up falling off the bed.
"Oww!" cried Jaemin as he fell on his butt.
"Omg am sorry!" exclaimed Y/n.
"Oh that's where my shirt went," said Jaemin getting up as he helped their son climb up the bed.
The baby snuggled closer to Y/n as she pulled him in and pecked him on his cheek.
"Good Morning my baby!"
"Good morning Mama!" said the baby as he kissed his mother on her cheek.
"Hey Na Min Joon I am here to you know?!" said Jaemin now standing up completely and placing his hands on his hips.
The baby was busy looking at Y/N but Y/N was busy drooling over the beautiful figure of her almost naked husband.
"Papa Good morning," said Min Joon as he jumped into Jaemin's arms and kissing Jaemin cheeks.
"Good morning Min J," said Jaemin but then looked at his wife who was suddenly quiet.
This made Jaemin smirk so he instantly hugged the baby and placed his weight on his left leg which he placed on the bed and leaned in to kiss his wife.
"Hey wake up?" said Jaemin smirking at his embarrassed wife.
"Papa you're squashing me, I can't see!!" cried the baby as they pulled away and let the baby rest on the bed.
"Bad papa!" said Min Joon as he puffed his cheeks and crossed his arms.
this looks familiar, thought Jaemin but only chuckled when he saw his wife.
"Like mother like son," chuckled Jaemin as he wore his bathrobe and sat on the bed.
"Mama Min Joon had a dream, Mama was taken by someone and papa was also taken by a bad man. Min Joon was alone," said Min Joon snuggling closer to his mother.
This made both his parent's silent but then Y/N tightly hugged Min Joon.
"Don't worry Mama and Papa will never leave Min Joon alone kay?" said Y/N ruffling her son's hair.
"And no matter what Papa won't let anyone touch mama or Min Joon," said Jaemin holding their child's hand. This made Y/N blush and made her heart race but she contained the feeling.
"But- But later Min Joon helps uncle Nono, uncle lele and uncle sung to find Mama and Papa and we all live happily ever after!!" said the baby with eyes glistening as he suddenly stood on the bed and pretended to fight with a sword.
It wasn't too long after that Y/n had washed herself up and was waiting for Jaemin and Min Joon to be done washing up. Y/N sat on the couch drying her hair when Jaemin and Min Joon walked out.
My hearts gonna leave my body, Min Joon looks just like Jaemin, so cute. Thought Y/N.
Min Joon instantly struggled his way out of Jaemin's grip and rushed to his mother but on the way, his towel fell off and this made him trip.
"off-" said the baby as his mother and father rushed to catch him but stood still as they watched him sit on his naked butt. They were attacked by his sudden cuteness that they froze.
Min Joon being a strong demi dragon baby he is stood up and squinted his eyes at his mother and father.
"Mean. Mama and Papa are mean," whined the baby puffing his rosy cheeks and keeping his hands on his hips.
This made his parent's laugh as they both looked at their son with adoration and love.
After all, he was theirs.
Min Joon's existence proved and certified the love Jaemin and Y/N had for one another.
