+ chapter one title from 'a friend' by gillian jones --
'do not expect to just take and hold
give friendship back, it is pure gold'

+ chapter two title from 'to all my friends' by may yang --
'to all my friends who have been with me in weakness
when water falls rush down my two sides'

+ chapter three title from 'from friends to lovers' by joe vieira --
'you're like the waves in the ocean
the cool breeze in the wind
like the call of birds in the morning dew
like the beauty in the night'
+ the reader is written as demisexual as of this chapter. their experiences are drawn entirely from my own as a demisexual / gray-a person.
+ jaskier provides only a couple of 'options' regarding what is not actually referred to as 'asexuality' in the text. it didn't make sense for him to have experienced the full umbrella of the spectrum -- he's worldly, but not /that/ worldly, you know? under other circumstances (like a more modern setting) i wouldn't have a non-ace character explaining asexuality, but... this is what makes sense here.

+chapter four title from 'typewriter series #2091' by tyler knott gregson --
'i would sleep with the thought of you,
with the silhouette
of a single memory, with the scent
left hours after you've touched
me.'

+chapter five title from 'typewriter series #2842' by tyler knott gregson --
'How we learn, we of
young fingertips electric
in their reaching,'
+ chapter five is also mostly one massive sex scene, with a smattering of development in places. if you would like a synopsis sans all the smut, please let me know and i will happily put one together for you.

+chapter six title from 'typewriter series #2845' by tyler knott gregson -- i am so in love with this man's poetry. it is so much inspiration
'More about life,
about love, about what
in it to be part
of something
so big. More,
more from you,
than you from
me.'
