The penny twirled in the air, then seemed to hang for a moment before plummeting back to the ground.
Lovejoy and Pettygrove waited anxiously, this would settle their quarrel once and for all.
It hit the floor and bounced once, then landed on edge before finally rattling flat on the parlor floor.
"I win!" Pettygrove yelled, pumping his fist and dancing around.
"Fine, we'll name it after your hometown," Lovejoy groaned. "I still think Portland, Oregon, is a stupid name. Everyone knows Boston is a much better city. But at least it won't have to be called 'The Clearing' anymore."
