White lies? Its an act of covering or protecting someone from trouble, problems because you don't want them/him/her to get hurt but what if you reach the time that your always creating those lies? Will you still continue or stop? Maybe you will continue but don't you know that always covering up for someone is no good at all it will just take time to stand by themselves, because your always there, yes its not bad to help but sometimes let them face it the sufferings and all the consequences that may appear so that they can reflect on themselves, a good friend let his/her friend grow by learning from their selves first
