Chapter 14

[HANA'S POV]

"Yes Hana, you complete this chapter and you're done with math. If you pull an all nighter today and take a day off tomorrow, you would've completed studying all the subjects. You would only have to revise the day before Exams!"

I told myself and smiled.

Yes, I'll be done studying, I thought and clapped to myself in happiness.

Within 15 minutes I completed the last chapter of math.

I closed my book and sighed.

I moved out of my chair and streched my arms.

I then slowly moved out of my study area and grabbed my phone which was lying on my bed.

I switched it on and started checking my call log and texts.

Park 'Jimin-ssi': 3 missed calls

Park 'Jimin-ssi' : 5 unread messages

I raised my eyebrows.

Jimin isn't usually the one to text or call after I tell him not to.

I told him not to call me around 8 hours ago.

He called me around 5pm and now it was about to be 12.

I checked the call log and found that he called me at 7pm, 9pm and 11pm.

I suddenly got worried and rubbed my temples.

I then checked his texts.

Park 'Jimin-ssi': Hey call me if you see this. (7:15pm)

I know you are busy but please call me after this. (8:30pm)

How long would you even study uh!? I'm telling you you'll only end up spoiling your health if you keep doing this (9:10pm)

Okay, carry on don't talk to me again. (10pm)

You know I'm only kidding right? Then c'mon pick my call! (11:30pm)

My face turned grim.

My hand rested against my head as I dialled his number.

I was tensed.

It rang for around 10 seconds until he picked up.

Once he picked up a smile unknowingly made it's way to my lips.

"Hey Jimin? You still awake?"

"Oh someone's finally
done studying. So Hana, you'll get an A this time?"

"Jimin don't play with me tell me what you wanted to tell"

"Oh ya, I'm playing with you. Get back to studying. You don't have time for me in your life."

Tears started filling my eyes. I took a deep breath before talking to him.

"Jimin, I understand you're angry with me and I'm sorry-"

"I wanted to talk to you. I refrained myself from calling you for two hours. I'm sorry I couldn't hold me back more than that."

"Okay leave that. You said you wanted to talk. What is it?"

"It's nothing actually.. I'm fine"

"Well no. You're not.
Tell me, what's bothering you Jimin-ah?"

"Hana-ssi,it's nothing"

"It's fine Jimin-ssi tell me
something then"

"Uh fine. It was about Taehyung"

"Taehyung? What's up with him?"

"He's in Seoul. He's moved there five months back and he
didn't tell me"

"That's strange. Wasn't he there in the park that day?"

"He said he was back in Busan that day to get the TC and stuff. He said his instincts said he would
meet me there"

"Well, he wasn't wrong though. What's he doing in Seoul?"

"Umm... Idol training"

"KPOP? That sounds cool"

"Hmm... Ya"

"So Jimin?"

"Hmm?"

"Did you think about it?"

"A-About what?"

"About letting your
heart decide?"

"Uh, let's.. let's focus on this year end finals first Hana"

Huh? Someone's concerned about studies?"

I asked and chuckled. He let out a nervous laugh.

"Being your friend how can I even not think about it?"

"Okay, Hana. See you at school tomorrow"

"Hey I'm planning to pull an all nighter and take tomorrow off!"

"I'll kill you. You've been studying for 8 hours non stop. Go to bed and come to school tomorrow pabo"

"Ugh, fine jiminiepabo"

"Hmm,off to sleep! You really need it. Good night"

"Good night"

I said and hung up.

He was right.

I felt my muscles ache and found I was tired.

I changed into my pajamas and jumped onto my bed.

Something seemed different about Jimin.

Something was wrong.

It sounded like he was trying to cover up something.

Before I could think about it, my eyelids dropped and I drifted off to deep sleep.
