Chapter 6

Camila POV:
I wake up the next morning and I feel arms around my waist. I remember that I stayed with Daniel last night but I still have a headache. I reach for my phone to see missed calls from Chelsea. I call her to see what she needs.

Phone: Chelsea:
Chelsea: Oh my god Cami I'm so glad you answered, are you okay!?
Camila: I'm fine actually
Chelsea: Grace is really worried about you
Camila: Tell her I'll be fine.
Chelsea: When are you coming home?
Camila: Well we have school today so I don't know
Chelsea: Right. Sorry Cami
Camila: It's alright Chels. I'll call you later, bye
Chelsea: Bye

I end the call and look at the time. It's 5:00. I turn back around and bury my head into Daniel's chest. I feel him kiss the top of my head and I look up at him.

Daniel: Morning beautiful
Camila: Good morning Dani
Daniel: You feeling okay?
Camila: Yeah I just have a headache
Daniel: You don't have a high alcohol tolerance do you?
Camila: Nope guess not
Daniel: Well do you want to go to school today?
Camila: Yeah we should. Wouldn't want to get anyone thinking
Daniel: Yeah you've got a fair point.
Camila: Could you drive me back home so I can get something to wear
Daniel: Of course

Daniel gets ready and then drives me to the house. I walk in and I'm immediately welcomed by the girls.

Chelsea: We were hoping that you'd come home to take us to school
Camila:Well I wasn't going to let you miss school, it's Friday
Grace: Cami!!!!
Camila: Hey Grace

She runs up and jumps into my arms. She hugs me tightly and I put her back down.

Grace: I missed you
Camila: I missed you too Grace
Felicity: I'm glad you're home
Camila: And I'm glad you're all ready, I'll be right back down and we'll head to school

I walk up to mine and Chelsea's room and I get ready for the day. I walk back down and look at the door to see the girls staring at Daniel.

Camila: You can stop staring now

They quickly look away and I walk over to Daniel.

Daniel: I see I've got a full car?
Camila: Yes you do
Felicity: Wait he's driving us to school? Why?
Camila: Calm down girls, he's a good driver
Grace: But Cami, my dream....?
Camila: It's okay Grace. I'm okay
Grace: You promise?
Camila: I promise. Chels?
Chelsea: Hey I'm up for it
Camila: Wild streak?
Chelsea: You know it
Daniel: *laughs* Alright well let's go

We walk out to Daniel's car and jump in. He looks at me and grabs a jacket from the back. It's one of his black leather jackets.

Camila: How many of these do you have?
Daniel: Two. One for me and one for you

Chelsea's POV:
Daniel walks to the driver's seat with a black leather jacket in his hand. I hands it to Camila and I look over at Grace and Felicity who are exchanging worried looks. I silently reassure them that she'll be okay and we should trust her. They nod and look at their phones as Daniel pulls out of the driveway. Cami was right, he can drive. We arrive at school and Grace and Felicity go to the middle school and the rest of us get out at the high school. I get out of the car before Cami and Daniel and I start walking toward the school. I get to the door and look back to see Daniel leaning in to kiss Cami. I watch as she leans in too and I quickly turn to walk into the door.

Camila POV:
Everyone gets out of the car besides Daniel and I. Daniel places his hand on my chin and turns my face toward his and begins leaning toward me. I lean in too and we kiss. It's not like last night, surprised I even remember that, but it's more passionate. We pull away and he looks deep into my eyes.

Daniel: Cami?
Camila: Yes Daniel?
Daniel: Will you be mine?
Camila: I was already your angel wasn't I?
Daniel: That a yes?
Camila: Yep

He smiles and kisses me again. We walk into the school and walk over to my locker. Candi is quick to walk up to me with a smirk on her face with Zach close behind her.

Candi: So you two decide to leave early huh? Nice jacket Cami
Camila: Thank you and yes we did leave early *smirk*
Candi: Daniel you hurt my best friend I hurt you, got it
Daniel: I didn't plan on hurting her
Candi: Better not

Vanessa walks up to Daniel completely ignoring me. She pushes me to the side and I see Daniel roll his eyes.

Vanessa: Hey Dani
Daniel: What do you want Vanessa?
Vanessa: Well you obviously
Camila: Okay that's enough

I push past Vanessa and smash my lips into Daniel's. He kissed me back and I hear Vanessa walk away. I pull away and look back to see Candi and Zach shocked.

Camila: *mocking* What? *laughs*
Zach: When did that happen?
Daniel: This morning
Candi: Well I'm proud of you two
Camila: Thank you very much
Zach: I'm proud too. You guys look good together
Daniel: We know *laughs*
Candi: Well I can tell you one thing, Vanessa is not happy
Daniel: Eh who cares, I never liked her anyway
Corbyn: Is that so?
Daniel: What do you want Corbyn?
Corbyn: Looks like the angel has fallen for the devil, you won't be miss goody two-shoes for long sweetheart
Daniel: You better back away from her

Daniel steps in front of me to keep Corbyn away.

Corbyn: Keep me away now but we have the same class
Daniel: Zach, Candi, keep an eye on her would you?
Zach: You can trust us Daniel
Daniel: I know I can, don't let me down
Candi: We won't

Candi and Zach walk me to class and I look back to check on Daniel. He seems okay but I can't help but worry. He's strong but Corbyn knows how to fight, and very well.
