" thanks lelina " we air kissed each other, before she pulled off waving goodbye

i put my headphones in listening to drip by ann marie ft jeremih
while walking to my locker , i saw sincere with a group of guys looking over at me while we made eye contact for a couple seconds both ignoring  each others presence

at times like this , i wish i had a female friend my age . but females love to start drama

i cut the eye contact by looking somewhere else , seeing destiny come towards me im not even gonna push her away

" hey che-armanì " destiny gave me a small smile

" hey destiny " i flashed her a smile back

" you feel better? " she asked as i turned to my locker , i shrugged

" depends on what you mean on better "

its not like i didnt like destiny i mean i just had a bad vibe about her , mostly cause we never talked to each other out of school always in school

she laughed a little " better in lifee? just better anything "

i pulled out the books i needed for AP psychology " yeah im doing better after nathans death , if thats what your tryna say "

" im glad to hear it , i was tryna text you while me and him were in a relationship to see if you wanted to go to the movies but your phone was disconnected " she said, making me looking at her confused

" my phones never been disconnected, who gave you my number? "

" nathan.. , i thought you were just ignoring me all those other times i tried to text you is 481-655-9086 , not your number? "

" nah , ion know whos number that is .. give me your phone so i can put my actual number in there maybe nathan did it as a joke im not prone to having female friends "

" i know , he told me but i didn't think he would do something like that " she shrugged handing me her phone which was on 'add contact'  , i put my number in and put my contact name as 'mani👺!' and gave it back .

the five minute warning bell rang "i gotta head to class, ill text you later and maybe we can set a couple things up " destiny said waving goodbye and starting to walk off

" fasho " i said, laughing to myself closing my locker turning around to walking to my class

i saw bervin with a couple of familiar faces we looked at each other and he nodded at me , making me flash him a smile while heading to my class .

i sat down in my usual spots, waiting for everyone to come in and decided to text the groupchat
